  • Really bad camera movements, blah...music, bad.

  • I really think you should keep to showing your Character models only. I agree with electropothy, that you need to pinpoint what you want to do.

    Your Models are very good and design is quite unique, but your animations and camera work are suffering a fair bit.

    My suggestion is that if you want your reel to be more dynamic, instead of just turnrounds for your models, have someone else animate them for you so long as you did the rigging to show them as working models.

  • what is it that u actually do or want to do, if ur lookin for a job u need to pin point what it is u want to go into. if ur a modeler than jus show ur models, special effects if u want to do that sort of thing and so on. employers want to know what the emplyee wants to do so they can decide whether they want u or not.

    speaking from firts hand experience as a video game artist student.

    this isnt a dig or complaint, more a constructive criticism and helpfull advice lol.

  • What's up with all the models I see having way too many abdominal muscles? It looks like that guy has a 12 or 14 pack! Oh well, he looks sweet anyway. Great modeling and great demo reel!

  • in your render settings choose "maya vector" instead of "maya software" for your renderer. make sure all your normals area hard and gicve your objects a solid colored shader. then select show outline or something like that and choose your line color.

  • My personal opinion is the best demo reels are those kept simple. Show what you can do, and give an estimated time. You're trying to sell your work, and when your work is drowned by music and spastic camera angles, it tends to be difficult to admire. Nice works, though.

  • I really like your modeling style, very original. I have to agree with most that you should take out the chess animation or change the cameras cause the camera there got really annoying, especially with the space ship as well. The lighting was okay, I'm not much of an expert on lighting. The animation itself was pretty good, but as someone mentioned, your modeling is your strong point so far. Keep up the good work.

  • cute real! a bit weak on the lighting, render and , ur modeling looks great but the skin texture is too rough. overall the real needs more moive shot positions and less shaky 3D animation with the cam
