some cheap ones means it stalls or same as turnin d key once the car is running ya no d choking sound:),
if ya gety a good one you can disable the button automatically once you start it first time around so when ur driving and the button is hit on again it wont effect it!!
this is the Honda S2000 start button from whatever year it was when I bought that, I just painted the lip around the button black instead of chrome. the way this is designed and wired into the ignition, pushing it while the car is running would be the same as turning the key again =not good to do.
ye but as i said above you can buy new ones now dat are programmed not to start the car again like turning the key when driving along so it doesnt matter if u press it it wont have any effect on the car, this is the old type of push start button jus 2 let ya no:)
it wasn't too hard wiring it into a fellow honda. the switch works like the video shows- maybe i'll film one from the passenger side showing only what you see and no hand on the key like you suspect... and timmed is spelled "timed"
Is there a way to get switched power (i.e. playing the radio) without cranking the car with the button?
