thanks for sharing this diy micro registration of yours. i have successfully installed it on my homemade 5x4 printing press and it works well saving a lot of time for my printing jobs. thanks
You Guys rock ..Keep up the work, i will buy the Metal hardware when the micro registration is out. Cuz i wanna support you for doing all this. Great and thanks for sharing.
You can buy the angled metal in just about any home improvement store in the hardware section. You'll have to cut them down to size, though, so make sure you have a blade that can cut aluminum.
Headway, Yes. All the bugs worked out, No. We are now in the testing phase of the 1st redesign. We want to post the best possible plans so we will probably not post them until we are sure that it works well. I am also working on a better off contact mechanism and adding a tilt adjustment. I hope to have the next version ready to test by the end of the month. I am hesitant to say when the plans will be up due to unforeseeable problems, but thanks for your interest and stay tuned, it will happen.
@Rebel18Lion The problem that we ran into was coming up with plans that could be easily reproduced in a shop with limited tools and hardware that is readily available and still come up with good tight registration. We started making and selling CNC cut press kits and are close to a micro registration system for that. The main problem with this design is the slop in the turnbuckles and that when you move one the other 2 move at the same time and makes it not very accurate.
Hey. When do you think those plans will be up? I'm about to build my press Anc I don't want to make the old one and have the micro registration plans come out like the next day.
The plans for the redesigned press will be a while, but the plans for adding micro to the existing plans I hope to have them up in the next few weeks. You could build the existing plans for now and change the screen arms out when the plans arrive.

Hoooly crap! Haha! Man, using turnbuckles in that way is an absolutely BRILLIANT idea!
I've had good luck with my projects registering on the first try so far, but I may well impliment this in the future!
