This isn't bad, but I liked the first theme much better. Plus, it's depressing to see this because this is when the show was really going south (not that it was great to begin with, but after Michael Ironside left, the quality really went down the tubes).

They have created a remake, but not for the theaters. It will be shown in 2010 on ABC. It has some differences but I feel it will be just as cool as the original.

This was originally done by Dennis McCarthy for V The Final Battle as a replacement for the Barry DeVorzon/Joe Conlan theme. The WB execs decided to keep the DeVorzon/Conlan theme instead and put this one in as a mid-season repacement for the series.

Yeah, Second Generation will rock. The original miniseries made TV history in 84. Watched by 80 million Americans and 100 million in Europe. In UK it beat the Los Angeles Olympics in TV ratings. I have the new novel by Kenneth Johnson on order and it no doubt that the miniseries fill soon follow and be a massive success.
