777rayheem, You are absolutely correct, Davy DMX always gets over looked. This is probably one of the best overall Hip Hop Cuts of the era, It had everything from the genre, outside of rap lyrics. I first recorded it onto a cassette by in 1986, I still have the cassette. This ranks right up there with Herbie Hancocks Rockit.
Davy Dmx is here tonite, now everythings gonna be alright ! we came here to rock the microphone while Davy cuts the record down to the bone !!....... see nearly 25 yrs later i can remember this stuff !!!!!!!
i miss the 80's damn we was cool back then. just think for one oringinal rapper to come out as davy dmx an then anotther hardcore guy! that aint bad! that aint bad at all! they don't know who we be!

3 people think it's the "Dis I Like" button. what a tune. it's been a while since I've heard this. I used to play this so loud walking around the streets with my beat machine on my shoulder. great days.
Oh man I been looking for this for a while!!! WOW can you say fat laced suede pumas and adidas sneakers. Oh yeah with the gazelle shades & if you couldnt afford those we use to rock the ferrari shades.

Pure style. Originality, creativity, no reference to b1tches and hoes, no threats to other record labels or creators, a smooth bassline, clapping hands--that was a requirement to hip hop in the 80's, chidren--the "fresh" scratch... this is straight B-Boy music right here, kids.

HIP HOP LIVES. It lives in the heart, it comes with the style, the attitude, the freedom, the art. People just don't always rock it correctly.
