I found a 2003 Jordan EJ13 with a Cosworth V10 for £400k. Any financially well to do want to buy it and start a race team? I am more than willing to drive in lieu of pay (as long as travel expenses are covered completely as well... I'm one broke bastard...) Hmm, maybe a "Will drive fast for food" sign applies? :/
This is the the Panoz dp01 that the 2007 champcar teams used in north america before the league shutdown, its an awesome car that was a steal for the price that Panoz gave to champcar, does this car still used the cosworth engine, it sounds like the turbo is still on the engine, it is an incredible combo that produce 750 plus hp, wish these cars were still in north america, enjoy them in the superleague or euroboss
This cars are more F1 than the 2009 F1 cars, great sound and they are looking like a formula racecar, not like a snowplow. F1 is getting worse every year, it had its technical peak with the V10 monsters of 2004. Then they slowed the cars down every year and now they are 4 sec. slower per lap than in 2004 and look like s***. Not to mention all these retort mickey mouse circuits in asia and the middle east.
There's a great article on this engine in Racecar Engineering. Really interesting read, and great to see V12 race engines back. Sounds truely immense!

I hope that this series should fear the FIA and the change in F1 as it should be.
