Holy smokes! When I went through a truckstop it wasnt anything higher than 2 gear on idle! 30 mph? Yessuh! Surprised the driver kept that rig upright.

Was a ham for 25+ years but didn't do much low band. I would imagine it'd be a good way to pass the time if you're a driver. Much better than that 11M nonsense.
BTW, know exactly where you were. Daughter lives in Louisville. Been through there many times on business

I have been trucking since the 1980s and the cb and ham radio is almost dead and obsolete.
