I hope there are more characters then the generic anime girls. Part of what made me love the Parodius series was the wacky characters I could play as, such as a cat, penguin or stickmans on a paper plane flying trough space. Turning them into those Touhou rip-offs irks me ):
I thought that Otomedius Gorgeous was on the 360. I thought that Otomedius was on arcade machines. But the video's title says Otomedius (not Otomedius Gorgeous). Did you somehow rip the arcade machine's game rom onto your Xbox 360?
Besides Otomedius Gorgeous isn't even out yet until later this year. So currently, the only Otomedius game is in the arcades. This seems like even more proof of a ripped rom. Or else someone stole a beta copy Otomedius Gorgeous for the 360.
Actually I know what the arcade monitor looks like, and this ain't it. This is a regular wide screen LCD monitor. Obviously the Xbox360 version. But that's not out yet. So it must be a leaked/bootleged copy of the Xbox360 game.
@BenHutchinson1Otomedius is on a new type of arcade system in which uses E-emusment software for complete online features this video is the Test version the LCD monitor is connected to a PC that runs Windows XP embedded which is what the game is on.
there is a PC crack but without E-emusment service nothing is saved.
BTW E-emusment costs 50$ a month so the Xbox 360 is the right way to go but its not out in the US.
Arcade games have changed alot and they have Big flat screen monitors now..
AH! Someone got their Touhou in my Gradius!

Wow, this looks shockingly basic.
The text scroll at the top of the screen should've been BenHutchinson's clue that this is a special demonstration of the game.

I wouldn't get your hopes up. Aside from one pilot, the rest are female and all the pilots are humanoid.

The very first attack wave is identical to Gradius 1985's first attack wave

Its probably a vid from a gameshow. Theres a lot of background noise.

Do you mean a gaming convention where they have new and up-coming games up for display?
BenHutchinson1 3 years ago
Yeah Im only guessing though. Something like Tkyo Game Show or something.

It says in the title "AOU 2007". AOU is the Arcade Operator's Union expo.
curiousjapan 3 years ago
It's a spectator monitor which is displayed above the arcade machine itself.
It's not a bootleg/xbox version Mr. Ben Hutchinson1 !!
Also this is taken from the AOU Expo 2007 in Chiba Japan at Makuhari Messe.
Some things aren't always so obvious.

The blue haired one is Aoba Anoa and I think the pink haired one is Toron Eri. I'm not too sure though.
