  • @1967sanfrancisco OMG! I know, Davy is my fave Monkee and I was so upset they forgot his birthday...XD

  • @strawbootie hahaha, i think they all forgot. thats so wrong, its totally selfish, lol. im like wait if its mies bday... then its davys too! lol

  • *mikes

  • mmm very sophisticated did you video it off your mums telly?

  • @oficeandmen Lol pretty much yeah, I recorded this before I knew how to do it properly. I just love the scene and wanted to share. :D

  • Not only were they real musicians, they were great actors, and made better movies than the Beatles!

  • I've seen it but can't get it.... the monkees have ALWAYS been a big part of my life...How can I get this movie????

  • @lorimccormick7534

It's now part of the America Lost and Found: The BBS story boxset from Criterion..

  • @cheerful71 Cool thanks :)

  • @lorimccormick7534

The box set is on sale at Amazon....(45% off)

I say grab it, it's worth it...it has Easy Rider, Five Easy Pieces plus Head and a few other BBS films...

  • Yes, best part of the movie...Happy Birthday Mike !!

  • "Happy Birthday, Ha!!

And I'll tell ya something else. The SAME thing goes for Christmas.

    How 'bout THEM apples?"

  • Was Mike high? Near the beginning and end it seemed like he was high.

  • Mike Nesmith was the epitome of cool!

  • this movie wreaks of sobriety

  • This is one of the most disturbing scenes in the movie. Micky fakes his own death to set up Mike and then somehow gets over to the birthday scene dressed as a Monk. Not a nice joke to play on your friend. This would have disturbed young fans of the show at the time; there were a lot of deeply cynical moments like this in the movie.

  • "And that goes for Christmas too! " Man, I wish someone had a clip of this scene with the full ending. Happy this is posted though.

I agree that so few realize the visionary greatness of this (now) 40 year old movie.

  • @g0thmoth

I'm so happy to have a copy, now! :D

It really should be re-released on DVD.

  • One of the best movies ever....so few people realize that....

  • I agree with you. Very under-rated movie.

  • haha this movie is the worst peice of crap ive ever seen.

  • @jayfey77 That was the point. You don't get it, pal. LOL

  • @jayfey77 but in the best way ever!

  • lol his face at 0:51 sec!

  • i totally agree!

  • Yeah, I've seen that movie.....one of the coolest movies I've ever seen
