Scrubs is one of my favorite shows, this was a great song for ending the 8th season, I just wish the 9th season never happened, it should have ended in the 8th.
The Book Of Love - Peter Gabriel's version is still the best one by far. On my channel you can find a rather different version (up tempo) by a German rock group from Berlin, Germany.
This is so incredibly beautiful....this song is one of the "loveliest" ones I've ever heard. I forwarded it to a writer who said it was inspiring him to help finish the last chapters of a FF he's been writing. It's called "The University of Edward Masen" if anyone is interested. It's for adults only.......

I am 60 years old and have watched a lot of TV citcoms, Frasier, Cheers, Mash, and many others but none of those come up to what Scrubs has done for me. I have learned many things from watching all of them and buying all of the CDs and re watching them. I am very sad that Zach, Sarah, John C. and the rest will not be doing it again. I will miss them!!

abc has truly destroyed scrubs. my roommates and i watched the first episode and we were all pissed. i mean the janitor made the series and so did jd (of course).

Adding strings and female harmony is overkill, and makes this cover version of the song too sentimental. The original version by The Magnetic Fields, is much, much better.
I heard this song on the season finale of "scrubs' and i thought it was absolutely amazing, I cried my eyes out. It's such a beautiful song and it reminds me of my husband and my kids...live everyday like its your last!
I cried like a baby too. I was just sitting there wide-eyed while the movie of his life was playing, I laughed and balled when grown up Izzy holds out her hand and announces that she and Sam are engaged. Scrubs has been my favorite show. If I ever want to make myself cry on cue I know what I'll be thinking aboutz::) lol
