"Here, put these in something." Daphne was too nice to her until the 'dog biscuit' part. If that was me she said that first line to I would have told her to bend over . . . . :)
helping martin was daphne's job,but the writers had to justify having her continued presence on the show(and having her live in the apartment!) not too many physical therapists live with their employers lol.
Daphne seems to do her job well, but I hate how she always complains. It's her job to be the house-worker. Yes, Bebe is being quite rude, but that's what Daphne is there for. Making food, helping Martin, and cleaning up.
helping martin was her job,but the writers had to justify having her continued presence on the show(and having her live in the apartment!) not too many physical therapists live with their employers lol.
@Milfuelle100 That wasn't her job. As I recall, she's a physical therapist for Martin. She does all that extra stuff because they all feel she's part of the family
@Milfuelle100 I would rather someone like Daphne than a person who only wants money. It's the way master/servant relationships used to be, based more on trust than on finance. The world is a rather cold place these days.
@jacksawild Bullshit. The thing is, back in the day women didn't/couldn't educate themselves so they ended up being married for the rest of their lives just simply because then they had some financial benefit. Today women can get a bachelors degree/PhD and get a good job. Most of the modern women don't need a man to have a succesful life. But yeah, Daphne is a great character, that's true. I just think Roz is much more beautiful than Daphne:)
No, Daphne's job is not "to be the house-worker." She was hired as a "physical therapist" for Martin. That's her title. She's not a maid. I suspect the reason why she does all the house work is because Frasier added that bit while negotiating her moving in. It's not room & board for physical therapy. She still gets compensated for that. Its room & board for housekeeping. But that doesn't mean Frasier and ESPECIALLY Bebe have the right to treat her like a servant. I would complain too!
Wouldn't Martins cane be about the most impractical cane there is? It's bulky, he has to hunch over, he could trip over the bottom part, and also based on how sturdy it looks to be made it should be very easy to slip with your hand.
I wish more people where lie Bibi (Or Bebe in case she spells it like she who plays Lilith), she may be abit wicked, but she'd never hurt anyone for real.
"and he knows that they know they're trying to scare him and they know that he know"..."it's like a card came it's like a dance. The whole thing is like a weekend in vegas"
...LOL @ Martins whole demeanour throughout those lines
"Yes you wouldn't want to miss a line of this dialogue - Oh, Zirconia, can't you see that Stone doesn't love you he loves Placenta" hahahaha

Frasier-
"Owwh, watching a loved one be re-autopsied"
This show by far has the most wit... A testament to how perfect, yes PERFECT the writing is..
Dumb and Dumber-
"I like it,

Frasier - "No, no, but the stress of not worrying is starting to get to me."

does anyone know the origin of the name of this episode? I don't think there was an Agents in America 1 or 2 was there?
elysie100 2 years ago
don't think so. There was Selling out and And the whimper is...
saule683 1 year ago
@elysie100 It is a reference to a two-part play called "Angels in America". The play had two parts, so this would be the third.
