Daphne seems to do her job well, but I hate how she always complains. It's her job to be the house-worker. Yes, Bebe is being quite rude, but that's what Daphne is there for. Making food, helping Martin, and cleaning up.

The thing is, back in the day women didn't/couldn't educate themselves so they ended up being married for the rest of their lives just simply because then they had some financial benefit. Today women can get a bachelors degree/PhD and get a good job. Most of the modern women don't need a man to have a succesful life. But yeah, Daphne is a great character, that's true. I just think Roz is much more beautiful than Daphne:)

No, Daphne's job is not "to be the house-worker." She was hired as a "physical therapist" for Martin.That's her title. She's not a maid. I suspect the reason why she does all the house work is because Frasier added that bit while negotiating her moving in. It's not room & board for physical therapy. She still gets compensated for that. Its room & board for housekeeping. But that doesn't mean Frasier and ESPECIALLY Bebe have the right to treat her like a servant. I would complain too!
