  • exposition exposition push it out ASAP!

  • Top 5 favorite villains BESIDES The Joker:

    5) Catwoman

    4) Hugo Strange

    3) Bane

    2) Scarecrow

    1) Ra's al Ghul

  • @DevilRebellion catwoman's a villain?? wat about Mr. Freeze he's pretty badass in arkham city

  • @originalmusic401 Catwoman straggles the line in between villain and ally. I couldn't really think of anyone else. Mr. Freeze IS pretty cool, I'll admit. He really impressed me in Arkham City, but I don't see myself putting him on my favourites list. If anything, I think Killer Croc or Victor Zsasz as #5 on my list. I'd actually rather put Harley Quinn on the list, but I feel like people will reply to me and say "oh, well she's part of the Joker, blah blah blah" but I LOVE her!

  • @originalmusic401 Oh, forgot to mention, I really like Two-Face as well. He's close to my list. Doesn't quite make it, but really close.

  • It's Jon Irenicus!

  • David Warner's voice makes every villain better. :D

  • "I can see it clearly now... you are BATSHIT INSANE."

  • Damn! Just like in Batman Begins.

  • He sounds like freeze from arkham city which is completely different lol

  • The most underrated villain in Batman is Kyundaiken...how many people even know who he is? He's right there -->

  • @shadowkill546 Nah. I'd say the must underrated villain is The Mustard Man (he was some sauce themed villain I can't remember the exact name).

  • THAT IS A THIRD OF ALL PEOPLE!!!

  • I love Ra's al Ghul! He really is underrated. Immortal. Leader of the League of Shadows. His motives are understandable, yet his methods are extreme. Plus, he's got one of the greatest voices in the history of ever! David Warner is amazing, and Liam Neeson was a PERFECT choice to play him in "Batman Begins"! Ra's is definitely one of my favorites.

  • @Tyran1232 League of Assassins.

  • @Tyran1232 He ain't that underrated. After all he was picked by Chris Nolan to be the villain in Batman Begins and had a pretty big role in Arkham City. There are more underrated villains like Hush or Deacon Blackfire, which are really creepy and they usually appear only in the comics. Well Hush appeared in Arkham City, but it was very minor role in a side mission.

  • 2,560,986,000

  • I'm thinking this is part of Bane's plan in Dark Knight Rises.. thus the Lazarus pit they found filming in India? lol j/p but would be cool... s/n: what Batman really meant to say to Ra's: "you are completely fucking insane"

  • won't the pits just make EVERYBODY youthful? :D

    (and insane)

  • I wish this guy would have done Ra's voice in Arkham City. Still an awesome game!

  • Sexy Ra's al

  • Did they just tore batman's suit like paper? I thought the suit was suppose to be make of some kind of nano military fibre?

  • @berwin1995 only in the comics and non-DCAU films.

in the original animated series the Batsuit has always been just simple clothing, and often gets torn in serious fights.

  • Ah 240p.......we meet again

  • The way he just cooly states how many people will die is so chilling

  • Personally, I like this version of Ra's al Ghul better than the one in Arkham City. Still, it was awesome seeing him in the game.

  • @loneotaku Yeah, but I think his presence could have been better. His missions were forced, I mean, they tried to copy the ones from Scarecrow in Arkham Asylum, which were awesome and in Arkham City they didn't fit.

  • 2:08 hahaha lmao so hard ..lol

  • Ra's is sooooooooooooooooooo sexy as hell !

  • i wish they used this Ra's al Ghul voice in Arkham City

  • @dewan05 Roddy McDowell is dead! impossible :[

  • @Dukkman112 Roddy McDowall is not the voice of Ra's, David Warner is.

  • @Derl30 My bad, Roddy Mcdowall voiced the Mad Hatter

  • I would hire Ralph Fiennes to play Ra's al Ghul if I reboot batman again.

  • @pete1210able LOL Seems logic since he is physicially similar to Liam Neeson.

  • My favorite episode. Epic music, fight, etc. The smartest and scariest villain Batman ever faces.

  • Ra's al Ghul: one of Batman's most underrated villains

  • @FellFather Ra's Al Ghul is always on countdowns of the best comic book villains and usually has main roles on Batman stuff that isn't comics. It's only underrated if you compare him with Joker which everyone loves. If you ask me I like Ra's more. Deacon Blackfire and Hush, those are underrated villains.

  • @FellFather Not in Arkham City ^_^

  • ...batman looks fat.... >.>

  • @shylikescereal No bruh, he/'s on that der cell tech!

  • What's the fucking point to rip his shirt off? O.o

  • @JoliLongbone We'll because they we're wanting to see and make sure he wasn't hiding any hidden-objects that would otherwise allow escape. Basically it's what you call a strip-search!!!

  • @JoliLongbone Ra's was trying to intimidate Batman by breaking a part of his esence.

  • It's a real shame that they weren't able to do the Near Apocalypse of '09 that was mentioned in Batman Beyond as being the final battle between Batman and Ra's al Ghul.

  • lovejoy? My God, no wonder billy zane used him as a valet..

  • Wow, I never realized how similar Ra'as and Ivy are in terms of motivation. These guys give environmentalists a bad name.

  • @Yawehplaneswalker616 They`re Also BOTH Hypocrites ! Ivy`s Plant People and Ra`s Lazarus Pits are Major Polluters !

  • You warrant no villains exposition from me. I bid you farewell Child of Bat, we shall not meet again.

  • David Warner = Win.

  • dark tomorrow coulda been cooler..but its kinda like resident evil classic game...

  • Wait is he back in The Dark Knight Rises?

  • @TerrorAtTheSky He'll be getting an cameo appearance back when he was younger (Josh Penace) and when he was played by Liam Neeson. That's about all we know at the moment.

  • @TerrorAtTheSky Possibly.

  • I can't wait to Liam Neeson as Ra's Al Ghul in the DarK Knight Rises

  • I heard Ra's al Ghul is in the Dark Knight Rises along with Bane & Catwomen

  • @resdsox1 Indeed, there's a possibility. Also, I have the theory that Marion Cotillard's character will turn out to be Talia Al Ghul in disguise.

  • hah lol dr.orpheous on venture bros was totally based of ras a ghul... shit dudes satellite is named orpheous lol

  • That will cost countless lives no shit detective lol

  • HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! XD

that was the best way to end the video

  • Is ras supposed to be a ninja here too???

  • Jonh Irenicus' voice!

  • I like how I was all "Mr. Dillinger...?" Hawhaw. Fuck, I love that man's voice.

  • I CANNOT BE CAGED... BITCH.

  • David Warner did great as Ra's al Ghul.....how would this guy do as shockwave?

  • Comment removed

  • hehe it's jon irenicus' voice from baldur's gate 2

  • WOW WHEN USE TO WATCH THIS NEVER KNEW WHO DAVID WAS..BUT AM SHOCK IT WAS DAVID NOW!..

  • Ras Al Ghul's voice sounds familiar. Didn't the same guy who voiced him also voice the Lobe on Freakazoid?

  • @Flashshadow According to Wikipedia, yes it is! And Dillinger from Tron, too.

  • I don't know who's more insane and crazy, Joker or Ra's

  • Why the hell did Ra's wanted to rip Batman's shirt off?

  • @Mazmorrero2 Because Ra's thugs we're searching to make sure he didn't have any gadgets which would allow him to escape!!!

  • @Deader87 Those were in his belt.

  • batman: but that will cost countless lives ?

Ra's: actually detective we have counted :)

    why did you count? WHY?????

  • "No, leave it. It is a mark of honor... and part of my... fantasy.."

  • Whenever Batman's shirtless, but still has the mask on, I get kind of annoyed, because all I can think is "Give him a sword/guillotine!" because he looks like a friggen executioner!

  • @IllyaItaCarole OMG, I was thinking the same-thing that he looked like an Executioner with his mask still on but shirtless, especially how beefy he is in this cartoon!!!

  • They took the ecological consciousness of the 70s and mixed it perfectly with a classic villain of the type pulp heroes like the Shadow would have faced. Instant awesome.

  • Where can I actually find this entire episode? I can't find the show anywhere online.

  • David Warner nailed Ra's Al Ghul. I can't read the characters dialogue in a comic book without hearing his voice.

  • "His mask, master?"

"No leave it. It is a mask of honor"

That's why Ra's Al Ghul is awesome.

  • Hope he does voice Shockwave in TF3..

  • This was my favorite episode when I was little, because when they ripped Batman's shirt off it gave me a boner.

  • @cloneswereall Actually that part scared the shit out of me.

  • @Mazmorrero2 What part scared you? just curious!!!

  • @Deader87 Well Ra's Al Ghul is a very scary guy with horrible intentions and methods, who has Batman captured in a completely different country and suddenly rips his shirt off. Wouldn't you be scared if something like that happened to you?

  • @Mazmorrero2 Truly!!!

  • @Mazmorrero2 Yes I would be!!!

  • @The4everSimpsons The Joker never knew Bruce was Batman or he would of attcked Bruce at home or try to kill Alfred

  • @Wheeljack35 eatch the flashback of return of the joker......

  • @Wheeljack35 Actually he has been told that Bruce Wayne is Batman several times but he usually laughs at the idea and kills whoever told him. More recently, Oberon Sexton (the Joker in disguise as a hero) got close enough to the Batman family that there's no chance he doesn't know Batman's whole deal.

My guess? The Joker worked out Batman's identity years ago, but he never wanted to simply kill Bruce Wayne - he wants to push Batman in to destroying himself and everything he stands for.

  • @The4everSimpsons I totally agree

  • omg ra's al ghul is 100+ years old

  • he better be careful messing with that computer..he might get sucked into it like Flynn.....

  • 0:00 "You have nothing to loooooose by teling me what you're doing here!!!"

  • Such an amazing exchange!

David Warner should have won an Emmy or some other sort of award for his amazing voice work here, and it's absolutely criminal that Kevin Conroy never did (Other than an Annie nomination for an episode of 'Batman Beyond').

  • @Adamguy2003 Warner IS an Emmy winner in real life.

  • Oh, he is The Lobe from Freakazoid!

  • @SalukAntiwii

And he also played Nergal on "The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy"!

  • Why does Ra's sound so familiar?

  • Comment removed

  • @Deader87 Cause shirtless Batman is a better Batman.

  • david warner has one of the coolest voices ever

  • You have nothing to lose, by telling me how smooth my hairless barrel-chest is

  • HIS MASK, MASTER?!

  • 2,056,986,000

  • batman looks a bit fat...

  • It's awesome that you can find Ra's al Ghul's dead body in Arkham Asylum, the game!

  • ra's is dead in batman arkham asylum :(

  • @DarkXFactor14

Or is he? Check the morgue later. You'll see his body is gone.......

  • @ghostdivision7 And for some reason Talila seems to be coming to visit Arkham next year....

  • He's a Terrorist! Very Eccentric, but a Terrorist

  • Its Jon Irenicus!!!

  • ras al ghul is awsome! ras al ghul for president

  • ...Is that The Lobe's voice coming out of Ras Al Ghul's mouth?

  • its the LOBE!

  • 2:15 Bold words, batman

Ra's is one of my favorite batman villiams, right behind Joker

  • RAS is GREAT villin!

  • Now i know why Talia loved Bruce....he's F'n HOT!! Well,for a cartoon.

  • man i feel like Alex from a clockwork orange listening to Beethoven when i hear David Warner's voice acting :D

  • This was one of my favorite episodes!

  • =D=D

  • David Warner does an awesome role.

  • "Actually, we have counted..."

  • what ep is this

  • "you are completely out of your mind"

    pwned xD

ra's has always been a great batman villain, they did him perfectly in batman begins

  • @CrazyLazyMonkey Definitely. I've said this on the comment lists of several other videos and I guess I should apologize beforehand for repeating it, but I thought reworking their relationship by making Ra's al Ghul none other than Batman's Sensei was nothing short of brilliant. =)

  • @CrazyLazyMonkey Rumor has it Ra's Al Ghul will be back in The Dark Knight Rises.

  • @CrazyLazyMonkey he will be coming back from the dead in Dark Knight Rises, I am looking forward to it. That in addition to Bane.

  • ras is ne ov them really clever real logical villians. but i still refer the mad psycho JOKER!!! HEHEHEEHAHAHAHAAAAAAAA

  • I have to say, and maybe I'm bias but Ra's is my all time favorite Batman villian EVER!

  • does Ra's al ghul have the same voice actor as the lobe? hmmm must investagate.

  • Yes it's the same VA: David Warner. Amazing actor.

  • He;s a great villian!

  • that part where he's saying the number of lives while slowly turning to face him... give me chills ~_~

  • Jon Irenicus!!

  • why does the league of shadows look middle eastern?

  • stereotype

  • actually it's a group of race, but anyway i didnt mean to be offensive, just caught me off gaurd cause i was used to seeing them being portrayed as ninjas, but now that ive seen this episode it all makes sense.

  • ah nah i didn't mean to refer that to you, i referred it to the creators of the show, they portrayed arabs as the evil doers, a typcal stereotype..which is odd, because i don't know why america loves to make ppl think ppl from that area of the world are bred to be evil, drives me crazy lol.

  • They`re Arabs in The Comics.That`s why.

  • exactly, the stereotype is why they were arabs in the comics.

  • You DO know Ra`s & The League of Assassins WERE CREATED BEFORE Osama Bin Laden was known AND Al Quaeda EVEN EXISTED,right? In Fact,Ra`s Ethnicity was changed in Begins to AVOID offending Arabs!

  • wow... dude arabs have been considered for their stereotypical tendencies long before any of that crap; plus a cartoon show plays a different role than modern movie films....... especially when considering audiences and money making - it's a business.

  • They`re Middle Eastern in The Comics. Also,They`re called The League of Assassins in The Comics AND Here.

  • Hell yeah DAvid Warner Was the best Voice actor In batman Animated Blah blah...

  • what about Ron Perlman? Kevin Conroy? Mark Hamil? but yeah he's one of the best

  • Okay, to all of the people that asked why they ripped off batmans clothes, I finally got ahold of the episode(the demons head part 2) and he was removing everything that could help him escape.

  • Why did Ra's al Ghul order his men to rip off Batman's shirt?

  • Because it's kinkier.

  • ROFL

  • "But that will cost countless lives!" No shit smartass.

  • i can picture Ben kingsly playing ras al ghul in the next batman movie

  • Why.......why did they tear off Batman's cape and top part of his costume?!

  • To increase the raw manliness

  • Comment removed

  • I love Ras Al Ghul and David Warner is king.

Hated the daughter though. Bimbo with no redeeming qualities.

  • Whoa, Ra's Al Ghul sounds like the Lobe! @_@
