When I went to Bamboozle Roadshow it poured down rain and my eyeliner was still on at the end of the day!

My first festival was reading 92. There was no such thing as 'festival looks' then. You shoved on your band t shirt, your dms, and you went for the music. Last year in the VIP area it was a tacky celeb hell. What happened to the music world?!

Glastonbury looks AWESOME this year! I'm in he US, but wow, I wish I were in the UK for this awesome festival. Acts I haven't seen or heard from in ages will be there, as well as some awesome international acts, what a treat!
nice video, not that you needed absolutely any make up in the first place :) Though I would really be interested in a video that shows what traditional dresses ( if any ) Europeans wear at their festivals. As an Indian, I really enjoy the rich apparel I see all over in Indian festivals, rarely get a chance to see that in the European world.
@UltimateRajput The festival Sam refers are pop-rock music kind, so clothes to be dancing and singing your vocal chords out ,nothing to do with "old" traditions there. Basically, clothes for a loooooooooong day/night of concerts one after the other in the middle of the country. Wellies in rainy countries, flip flops in hot places :-)
This is sad that people in the US don't know what a festival is. We have so many festivals here , varying from ethnic/heritage festivals, to large music/art, and food related events all year round- and I'm in a small city in upstate NY.

Noone is born knowing what a festival is, no matter where you're born. I am from the US and we have a local festival every year here in Lenawee County. Now depending on the country, the word "festival" could have different meanings. Just my opinion.

Great video again! Thanks for all the tips. As some others have said, most of the music festivals in the US are in California, which is where I am, but I have yet to make it to Coachella or any other ones :-( But there are also a lot of other types of festivals, which may be one or two days of the weekend, but there's no camping out, etc. Those are usually food or wine or arts and crafts related. I wish we had more of the music type festivals here like in the UK and Europe.

Summer festivals in Australia are too hot to wear make up. It just slides off your face. I only wear a little mascara and sunblock (30+) and of course a light coloured hat !!! (that dark coloured hat you have on would be way to hot on your head here).
@sparkleepolkadot I do know what she means, I live in the UK and im going to Reading festival this year. A festival is basically a huge event that lasts around 2-3 days where people camp in a huge field/area and there are huge stages with bands playing ALLL DAYYYYY. Its basically a giant concert that people camp at that lasts 3 days. Google it!

i just bought the Elizabeth Arden 8 hour spf and although its says oil free it is actually muchos greasy, kinda wish i'd stuck with Soltan £8 one :/
also i think layering SPF on your face is a good idea (even tho as you say they dont add up) just in case you miss small areas- apparently most people get skin cancer on ears.

I love all your double duty products but I have a question, How do you keep your makeup from melting? I'm going to Sturgis motorcycle rally with my girlfriend in August. It will be at least a three day trip, the rally is a week and we're camping. Everything has to fit in the saddle bags so your video was perfect for me. I would appreciate any tips you are willing to share. Have fun at the festivals.

In the US, a festival could refer to a lot of things... that said, it's pretty clear what you're talking about once you start watching!! (We call them "music festivals".... Are a lot of people actually confused about this? Kind of embarrassing.)

I think it depends weather you're into fun festival make-up or plain "looking like your not trying too hard" make-up.
I go to Glastonbury, V festival, Isle Of Wight festival nearly every year.. and yes if i could be bothered to put fake eyelashes on.. I WOULD.

My first festival was reading 92. There was no such thing as 'festival looks' then. You shoved on your band t shirt, your dms, and you went for the music. Last year in the VIP area it was a tacky celeb hell. What happened to the music world?!

I work in music so I think it's fair enough that I despise the fact that festivals were all about music, which they should be, to being filled with people who have appropriated them into the mainstream who all dress the same, like some awful clones straight out of a 'festival chic' page in some rubbish girly magazine. You want a bit of style, go to ATP, where people actually LOVE music and care about the bands. I apologise about my love for music. Sorry.

Glastonbury looks AWESOME this year! I'm in he US, but wow, I wish I were in the UK for this awesome festival. Acts I haven't seen or heard from in ages will be there, as well as some awesome international acts, what a treat!

nice video, not that you needed absolutely any make up in the first place :) Though I would really be interested in a video that shows what traditional dresses ( if any ) Europeans wear at their festivals. As an Indian, I really enjoy the rich apparel I see all over in Indian festivals, rarely get a chance to see that in the European world.

@UltimateRajput The festival Sam refers are pop-rock music kind, so clothes to be dancing and singing your vocal chords out ,nothing to do with "old" traditions there. Basically, clothes for a loooooooooong day/night of concerts one after the other in the middle of the country. Wellies in rainy countries, flip flops in hot places :-)

Noone is born knowing what a festival is, no matter where you're born. I am from the US and we have a local festival every year here in Lenawee County. Now depending on the country, the word "festival" could have different meanings. Just my opinion.

Great video again! Thanks for all the tips. As some others have said, most of the music festivals in the US are in California, which is where I am, but I have yet to make it to Coachella or any other ones :-( But there are also a lot of other types of festivals, which may be one or two days of the weekend, but there's no camping out, etc. Those are usually food or wine or arts and crafts related. I wish we had more of the music type festivals here like in the UK and Europe.

Just wondering if you could give me some advice.I have medium brown skin and dark black hair and eyebrows (im indian). None of the lipcolours I have tried over the years have looked right on me, and its such a bummer! I also have smallish dark lips. Nowadyas i just use clear gloss but thats so boring! Do you know what might look good?

Coachella in america is an amazing festival. theres more festivals in california than anywhere else in the US, so its not an entirely european thing

Summer festivals in Australia are too hot to wear make up. It just slides off your face. I only wear a little mascara and sunblock (30+) and of course a light coloured hat !!! (that dark coloured hat you have on would be way to hot on your head here).

@sparkleepolkadot I do know what she means, I live in the UK and im going to Reading festival this year. A festival is basically a huge event that lasts around 2-3 days where people camp in a huge field/area and there are huge stages with bands playing ALLL DAYYYYY. Its basically a giant concert that people camp at that lasts 3 days. Google it!

i just bought the Elizabeth Arden 8 hour spf and although its says oil free it is actually muchos greasy, kinda wish i'd stuck with Soltan £8 one :/
also i think layering SPF on your face is a good idea (even tho as you say they dont add up) just in case you miss small areas- apparently most people get skin cancer on ears.
also Latitude is amazing have fun with the sheep! x

I love all your double duty products but I have a question, How do you keep your makeup from melting? I'm going to Sturgis motorcycle rally with my girlfriend in August. It will be at least a three day trip, the rally is a week and we're camping. Everything has to fit in the saddle bags so your video was perfect for me. I would appreciate any tips you are willing to share. Have fun at the festivals.

In the US, a festival could refer to a lot of things... that said, it's pretty clear what you're talking about once you start watching!! (We call them "music festivals".... Are a lot of people actually confused about this? Kind of embarrassing.)
