@thebestsniper8 It's because it has to write the video to your hard drive at the same time as you are trying to read from it, so it is hard on your computer. A way to alleviate some of the Fraps hindrance is by writing the video to a flash drive instead of to your hard drive.

I'm finding the Xbox graphics pretty good. It's the loading screens that suck ass.

The problem is there's a lot of loading screens. After you complete a cavern you have to fast travel to a town... loading screen... then enter a shop... loading screen... exit shop... loading screen... and then visit some more shops as the first merchant only has few hundred gold.

20% of your game playing time is staring at loading screens.

Wish I had a PC with grunt and SSD to minimize the loading times, but I do like adventuring while on the couch so I got Skyrim for Xbox.

@jodawgsup You may get a lot of lag if you have texture mods. Try using but set indirect lighting to false in the enb ini and maybe disable ssao. If all else fails there is a performance pack out :) come back if you need more help :)

@DammalSC No grass was on just I wasn't in really grassy areas, check my latest skyrim video to see grass been tweaked in the ini to have shadows and literally cover a lot more ground, if you like it ill message you what tweaks you need to do :)

@thebestsniper8 Well your first reason to get the game should be Bethesda's own content - given that back then they were peaking in as far as development and content creation. Morrowind came before they sold out. I think someone called it 'the commercial hit the company deserved' - but I get the idea that it was not DESIGNED to be a COMMERCIAL HIT (unlike Oblivion and Skyrim) but just happened to be one because it was great. It IS great. I like Skyrim yes, but man! I'm bored...

the engine can have a lot of stuff done with it but it by far doesn't beat modded oblivion, nor modded skyrim, just through technicalities. morrowind has the worst graphics engine for all three games

but I can see why you'd say that when you look at this video in particular, it's a bit bright and weirdly configured in my opinion. just a bit
