I have not solved the problem. It sill occurs even with Windows 7 and official Dell Drivers for Vista. It happens after an hour or two of being plugged in to the monitor. As soon as I unplug from the monitor, the digitizer works again. It happens all the time with Vista, but less with Windows 7. I have used another Dell Latitude XT, a 1.33 Ghz model with LED screen, and it does the same thing with all updated.
The monitor is a LG 20 inch L203WT. I don't know what parallax is or how I can find.
