@shoeme69 Yes, but it wasn't so much about that for Raikkonen - heating the front tyres was the issue he struggled with and only having 2 or so laps meant he couldn't extract the full potential... Whether it was through his fault or not (although it's widely documented that this has been a characteristic of the Ferraris for many years), that was the issue. This then resulted in him being far from the front row and stuck behind slower cars on many tracks where overtaking is near impossible...
@shoeme69 Well that's not really true though, is it. Car performance is track dependant and the Ferrari only held a slight majority over Mclaren in 2007; 9-8, 10-7 respectively -at most-. Schumacher failed to beat Alonso in 2006, what makes you think he would have done any better in 2007? If you'd said Schumacher would have delivered better than KR in 2008, I'd agree, but even then it was only quali that Raikkonen failed to deliver on; his racepace was blinding!
Schumacher failed to beat Alonso in a worse car. Seriously those michelins held a huge advantage over the course of 06. In 2007-2008 he would have won the championship by miles.
@Anime998877 Doubt it. The 2007 Ferraris onwards did not suit Raikkonen, and wouldnt have suited Schumacher either, whilst the 2006 car did (but not Massa).

man 2007 was THE most competitive f1 season i can remember! Ferrari and McLaren were neck and neck at every race. Magny Cours is a fantastic track.
