Use a long pvc pipe and load it, cap it off, and duct tape it up. I filled a 1 ft, 3/4 inch pvc pipe and packed it as much as I could and it was a pretty fucking huge explosion.

its funny how NOBODY ever wont's to waste gunpowder, even if its less then 1/10 of a gram. human realy do value things that burn, or explode vigorously wiat, doesnt the pressure all escape from the place where you put the fuse in?
@thawdani jkog is right. the powder burns too fast so it creates enough pressure in a short enough amount of time to break apart the casing. but we actually are using black powder because it has a faster burning rate. so if you use gunpowder it will all escape from the hole that you used for the fuse and all you get is a crappy smoke bomb. but we also figured out that gunpowder is easier to ignite than blackpowder so we have been messing around with mixtures of the two.
