Scones were one of my favorite Sunday night treats when I was growing up. Add a little honey to them and they are SOO good. I can't wait to try this new recipe!
This brings back so many memories..my mom used to make these all the time. Her recipie was fried though and we'd dip them in cinnamon and sugar or put honey on top..so good. We also made navajo tacos with them. Anyway..this recipie looks heathier though!
Anyhow, the scones look delicious! That sort of thing is perfect for brunch-type get-togethers, so I'll have to give them a try for that. Also, I'm totally digging that sweet, super-mod pitcher that the cook's using. I'd love to find one.
that looks great, I wish it were breakfast time now. These would be great with some herbal tea curled up by the fire on a cold and rainy night in my snuggie.
Have you tried this with the powdered butter? What water to butter ratio worked out for you?
