@propkerfan well...I've been in a ring, I've been in a training facility, I've taken bumps, I've been sent to the hospital and almost died so yea, I don't really need to watch those (that I've already watched). If you REALLY want to know more, try to find UWA training DVDs. I think it's UWA, it has a young Cena, Chris Daniels, Kaz, and Samoa Joe when they were training and it goes through bumps, suplexes, running the ropes, drills, etc.

I don't know how many times I've seen a japanese match with 1000 headdrops and they do their 10 finishers 12 times a piece and 4 times from the time, by the end of the match the crowd doesn't give a shit because they aren't selling or telling a story. @propkerfan well...I've been in a ring, I've been in a training facility, I've taken bumps, I've been sent to the hospital and almost died so yea, I don't really need to watch those (that I've already watched). If you REALLY want to know more, try to find UWA training DVDs. I think it's UWA, it has a young Cena, Chris Daniels, Kaz, and Samoa Joe when they were training and it goes through bumps, suplexes, running the ropes, drills, etc.

@babo156 I don't think it's real, I think it hurts a lot more than you think. They don't get cuts because they don't get hit with things that will give you cuts. Go find a wrestling school and ask them to teach you how to bump, that's it, just bump. I mean, I took a bad bump and ended up in the hospital with a subdural hematoma and almost died (seriously). I didn't have any cuts. They've done research and each bump causes minute brain damage.

@babo156 Pro wrestlers do it 3-5 days a week, every week of the year. UFC fighters are different, it's not at all the same thing, so don't compare it. Pro wrestling is it's own entity. If I say "hey, let's do a superplex spot" you're still gonna be taking a 10 foot bump whether you know it's coming or not. Why do you think that benoit killed his family? Brain damage that's why. They've done studies and it's the same type of brain damage that NFL linemen get that causes dementia.

I don't know how many times I've seen a japanese match with 1000 headdrops and they do their 10 finishers 12 times a piece and 4 times from the time, by the end of the match the crowd doesn't give a shit because they aren't selling or telling a story. No matter where you are, you MUST tell a story in the ring. Cena does this.

@doomchill they get loud when shit is awesome. Misawa vs Kawada gets loud. Also, cena is dumbed down so that you boo him. If you're making noise, even if you're booing him, WWE wants you to. Vince isn't stupid. He knows that a cheesey corney limited muscular babyface will annoy the shit out of the supposed "smart" marks (even though they're really spot marks). So that's why they do it.

I've talked to old school WRESTLERS like Terry Funk and Harley Race, and indy guys who were trained by harley, if you get over, you're good at your job. doesn't matter what moves you can or cannot do, or what moves you chose or chose not to do. If you get the crowd to make noise, you're valuable and that's the goal. Again, why are people who bitch about something a majority of the time supposedly more "true"?
