Lucas was working undercover for MI5 in Russia, when he met and married Elisabeta. His cover was blown and he spent 8 years in a Russian prison, during which time the none-too-thrilled Elisabeta divorced him. Lucas is released as part of a prisoner-swap, still loving his ex - whom he discovers is re-married with kids and living in London.

It really does look like it could have come from the 1960s...only a few effects betray it as 2008 video. Still, it was very enjoyable!!

You know--I've never seen Spooks. It looks good from your videos, but it doesn't air where I live. If I ever do find it online or tv though, I'll have you to thank for my interest in it. (Your videos do an awesome job of promoting the show. They should hire you to make the promos!)
