It takes a few seconds to generate one blast of lightning, opposed to her constant use of blue fire. Blue fire = when she blasts a lot, lightning = when she stops and does the motion to create it.. they even have different sounds.

Sasuke's an emo kid, totally. But he's powerful!!! He knows techniques Zuko couldn't even dream of. If he uses Kirin, Zuko's toast. Now, I know Zuko can redirect lightning, but Kirin's way too fast and way too powerful, even for him. As good as Zuko is, he'll need a lot of help in order to beat someone like Sasuke. In fact, I don't even think he'll win unless he has help from people like Iroh, Ozai, Azula, and Aang (especially Aang, he's got the Avatar State).
