Now with that out of the way, to answer your question, no. That is not a Predator. Its an "Evil Ash" figure from Army of Darkness that I picked up at Comic Con one year. Love that movie! Notice "normal" Ash on the opposite side as well.

Ya know, I was quite shocked when it came to Predators. I coulda sworn they were gonna fuck it up with crappy overdone cgi and make it PG13 and whatnot. But to my surprise, they kept to the series' roots and made a worthy "true" sequel complete with great practical effects work and heavy gore and action. One of the bigger surprises of the last couple years imo. Also, who knew Adrian Brody could play a hardened badass so well?
@DanSheaMovieReviews One of the reasons I think he should be Henry Pym in Edgar Wright's Ant Man film. Hey, don't discredit Predator 2, Danny Glover, Gary Busey, and Bill Paxton, not to mention Adam Baldwin.

Not a bad machine really, but I need a new one badly. Bastard's starting to heat up like crazy. Video editing doesn't help, but my biggest complain about it has always been the shitty fan/ventilation system. Not ideal for a laptop imo, but hey, I'll take what I can get :)

They gave these shows to the strangest directors possible. They gave Speed Racer to the Matrix trilogy guys, they gave Dragonball to the guy that did Final Destination and they gave Avatar my favorite cartoon to M night! Hollywood sucks

What dragged the movie down really was the pointless story. I mean, let's not kid ourselves, Speed Racer was never that deep of a show. It was about crazy, fast action. The movie has that, but it takes far too long to get to it. And in a 2 1/2 hour movie about Speed Racer, I would really expect more than maybe 20 min of actual racing

@MegaFrostyX Thanks for noticing! This new mic I got is AMAZING! The difference in sound quality between this and my previous reviews is like night and day. I finally ditched that crappy quality lapel mic and upgraded to a professional quality shotgun mic. $200 as opposed to $25, but it was very well worth it. Hey, you gotta start somewhere, right?
@MegaFrostyX On a side note, that was also part (more like just one of the many factors) of the reason I have been gone for so long. My old mic died on me and then I buckled down and went a little crazy finding a replacement. Took lots of time unfortunately. Although, in the grand scheme of things, a dead mic was the least of my troubles over the last few months :(

That kinda came out of left field lol. But I will say I kinda liked it. Thing is it couldn't figure out what kind of movie it was. First its a "documentary" then its a war movie, then its full blown Sci fi, then its a Documentary again. Wasn't very focused but I liked it. Reminded me of Alien Nation a bit. Effects were great too
