i never saw gaogaigar, but i do have a toy that has the same hawk-like symbol as hawk sabers chest, its a black space shuttle like thing, and its guns turn around into fist. do you happen to know its name and if its in this show?

I got this guy today. He's a real letdown. Ugly hawk mode (iI think too that he looks better without the robot legs), nearly no articulation and the worst of all: partsforming. At least he's used for one of the most awesome combiners ever.

Fancy, I just found this guy in a Thrift Store today, still in box. But as I watch this video, I notice the colours are different and Jumbo Saber's wings are chromed. It came with a few different accessories, such as a giant chrome shield instead of a bow, and a couple extra guns. Since the bow is on the box-art, but not in the packaging, I'm guessing this was a knock-off. D''oh! But it still strikes a very fine figure, and I'll have to apply the stickers later. Thanks for the intrstuctions!

Technically it's both.  A Pegasus is a winged horse and A centaur is a human torso on a horse's body. So we have a giant Centausus. :-P

Agreed, beautiful figure, and my favorite robot from the show. It was so epic when they merged for the first time. (^.^)

If I recall, there are three teams of giant robots, the other being the land vehicles that includes a drilling machine and race car. The other being the main guy with the police car, bullet train and jet.
