How is it living with the band now? Everyone posts about going through the process, but don't go on to post about how it's like living with the band during maintenance years after surgery. Please share. I know I'm not the only dying to know.
Hey.. I stumbled upon your vlog and have been watching it all morning. It's been really a great source of inspiration and comfort for me. I'm a 26-year-old male in Colorado and I have a doctor's appointment in about an hour for a physical and to talk about the surgery.. I've been shaking so bad all morning because I haven't seen a doc in almost five years. I started to have chest pains and thought it was best to address it. I'm a bit calmer now, watching your journey... thank you :)
I had my lap band surgery done in 2001 i lost weight fast
but I was so addicted to food it was the only thing that made me feel good when I'm depressed and because I hated the saggy skin i learned all the ways in how to cheat and eat my way back up
where can you be around people who are going thru what I'm going thru?
I just want to say that your presentation was great. I also want tos ay that I have watched your journey and appreciate you sharing. I'm about to get my band 12/30/08, so I'm looking forward to sharing my journey with others so that they are also encouraged. Thank you again!
The presentation was great! I shared it with my husband so he could be fully informed about the lap band surgery I'll be having in March. Very educational. Thanks.
Brilliant job Ashley. I've honestly never heard a speech that good directed at people interested in WLS.
You were very real and said alot of things that most WLS offices neglect to bring up (post op issues such as addiction transfer, relationship problems and social anxiety to name a few).
Thank you for bringing positive attention and awareness to others concerning WLS.
Hey Ash you rocked that presentation...I was wondering that book u mentioned that was written by one of the nurses at ur center..is it for sale? How can I get my hands on a copy?
