Ok well all this guys methods. Simply, dont work. Apple doesnt only use a flashlight anymore. I put white nail polish in my iphone 3gs, the thought it wasnt water damaged above but saw the bottom. He went in the back to see how much water damage it had. He knew cuss the phone turned on but with a white screen and gray lines. This is not how to fix an iPod. It is how to trick Apple into thinking your iPod is malfunctioning. There are other videos that will show you how to _actually_ fix it. Regardless of ethics of duping Apple, when they open it up to salvage parts and whatever else they do, they are going to see water damage. And they can link you to that iPod. I would like to know if anyone has done this and then had to pay back to Apple the cost of the replacement iPod.
