@Arenja YOU'RE HELENA (totally just realized that) xD Powels is so EPIC. Best book store ever. I bought my own copy of Odd Thomas there. Aine and Sora got a ton of Doctor Who fan-books; that's how they roll.
Next time I head up to Portland, I'll let you know so we can hang :) It's just that this trip was sort of spontaneous, and we weren't there for very long.
@larxeneeatyourface Yeah- this account was made back when I was known as "Arenja," hehe... A LONG time ago. Like, 5 years... wow...
They have really cheap manga, too.
YOU TOTALLY SHOULD!!! <3 Oh; as it turns out I won't be coming down there this Summer. Mainly because... well... I kinda started another cosplay... Yeah... Tifa from FFVII. (Don't judge me!)
@larxeneeatyourface Ugg... the slideshows... I'll be trying to take those down, soon, and replace them with some piano medleys I've arranged.
Book books are good. ^-^
I missed my window of opportunity, sadly, because I was working on the many cosplays I'll be doing within the next two years. My brother is coming home for about a month starting next Thursday so it's too late to visit considering I'm not allowed to leave the state, sans trips to Portland, while he's here.
@Arenja I understand. My old old old MMVs might as well have been slideshows. It shames me to look at them u_u
Piano medleys are very youtube worthy, though~
Yeahh, it seems that my manga craze has taken away from good book book reading time, for me. So I have to catch up. I've recently picked up Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green and David Levithan at the library (that book is in this video, lol) So excited to read it.
That's makes sense. :) I'm glad you get to be with your brother.
@Arenja :/ I'm not a big fan of Tamora Pierce. I tried starting the Alanna series in middle school, but couldn't really get into it. I've heard she has better books, which I might try out, but I just found her romance to be really cheesey. I'm also not as into fantasy as I used to be. But, that's just my taste.
The Lovely Bones sounds like it's really good, though.
*Sniffle* You guys totally went to Powels without me... T-T

@Arenja xD Haha, that explains the slideshows.
Yeah, I noticed. I almost got one (the four volume in one version of Clover. It's sooo wonderful), but I wanted to get a book book instead.
D: FAIL. I mean, not the Tifa cosplay (Tifa is awesome, and you'd rock her) but the you not coming down here is FAIL.

@larxeneeatyourface Since you're on the novel track I recommend anything by Tamora Pierce, and "The Lovely Bones" is an amazing book.
Ugg... don't remind me. T-T

@larxeneeatyourface Read her other series- the Circle of Magic. It's much better in every way.
