  • What brand of brush you use? What type of ink did you use? What kind of paper did you use? Sorry for all these questions lol.

  • am i the only one who thinks that using a brush is rather easy if you just watch what you are doing? i don't see any diffuculty in this, but it is good art im not saying anything else. :)

  • @159tony Skilled people make stuff look easy. Is your opinion based on your experience? If it is and you get good results, great. If it's just from watching the video, try to actually do it and tell me how it goes. I'm not trying to be a jerk here, I just find it difficult as hell, and I have to do the opposite to get better results. Obsessing too much always render my lines wiggly and insecure.

  • @stereo123 Experience. Brushes are my strength on inking, but technical pens are kinda harder for me, because i cant really control the weight of the line that much

  • Awesome awesome.

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW OMG that's skill and pulse =D

  • :)

  • Your work is beautiful. Been working with a brush for a few years; such a gorgeous line. Keep it up!

  • Inking with brush is hard and difficult but it gives you the best resutls.

  • I hear you about the skill level, man. People today don't value hand-drawn work like they used to. Too much CGI. I will always draw by hand, and I will support others who do so as well.

  • Great form, truly inspirational.

  • What kind of brush are you using?

  • I Just learned more inking tips with this video than 2 weeks internet searching. Thanks.

  • i cant find ink that stays that black! ive tried higgins but that doesnt seem to work. if i may ask, what are u using here?

  • OMG his hand moves so smoothly!!! unlike mine that shakes too much....but I can do that sometimes if I'm lucky...but with a pen. A brush needs more control in order to make a smooth line. That person really deserves respect!! I wish the vid could've been longer :-)

  • what u using bro? (name of ink & what brush u using plz?)

  • Is it just me or is your brush trimmed off to make the tip sharper?

  • @zf4126 Probably just a decent sable brush...you get a really sharp point with a good one. If you trimmed a brush you're more likely to render it USELESS! Unless you're Milton Caniff...but that's another story...

  • what ink are you using??

  • nice work!

what is this kind of page called?

i usually ink on a lite box... and it's got lots of draw backs, this method looks much better

  • what kinda ink does this guy use???

  • So nice and smooth that i almost got into a state of meditation while watching :)

  • nice fuckin work, ya hand is mad smooth!

  • good pulse!!!

  • Great video!!!

  • You are great bro! Booth with the brush and the lesson!

  • I wish I could do clean line work like that, my stuff's sketchier. My hands aren't steady enough to do brushwork like that man, you're amazing with it.

  • I usually use a nib but I just got some new brushes, so this has inspired me, I use india ink, I want to try colored india ink though! FOr now I gotta stick to me color & design hw (I hate acrylic paints! ;P) until I have time for by own work.

  • Nicely done bro....When I get my gouache set in I going to start doing alex ross type work....

  • amazing work dude !

  • Holy crap! You're so skilled... There's no way I can use a brush that well!!

  • @Miganishi Your already rejecting yourself without even trying, Do you think that way with hot girls?

  • @76ComicFan Hahaha I'VE TRIED A LOT! That's why I say it XD I just never get to control it appropriately no matter how hard I try :P And when it comes to hotties, I give up until they try to kill me XD

  • @Miganishi Cuase the hotties are getting the "I'm desperate" vibe from you. Just talk to them like you would your best friend. If she's interested, she'll let you know.

  • @76ComicFan Hey, not all of them try to kill me, only the hardest ones LoL

  • good work!

  • Huh... I use a number one or technical pens when I ink.

  • much respect n Im trying out brush inking. you sir are an inspiration to me. nice fem character. I also draw in computer with Wacom intuos 4 small but its still cool to draw n do things traditional wise.

  • Respect!

  • steady hand for sure, can you color it, I 've like to see that.

  • The computer comment is agreeable, but not. Using the computer to make amazing art still takes skill, it doesn't do it for you. And why should it be a bad thing to make something easier?

  • what brand and size of the brush?

  • HOT PICTURE MAN!

    Great tutorial.

I just started inking with a brush a few weeks ago, and was looking for tutorials over the internet.

Also, what kind of ink do you use with your brush.

It would be great if you got back to me man! ( or if anyone els has any preferences of ink, I don't mind if you send me a reply!)

    - connorman

  • what number is that brush??? D:

  • number 2

  • nicely done!

  • thanks for this video. great work.

  • im starting with ink drawings, always did in pencil.... its hard to have a steady hand as you said...do you know some tips for it? i mean , e.g. i heard that drinking coffee makes your hands be more like shaking so if youre gonna draw dont drink coffe.... is that true?

  • Very good demo.Two objections.

1.This is not a lost art.The industry is full of brushes and it's going to stay that way.

2.Sure it takes practice but not years. Not for me at least.

  • Always impressed with your work man. Awesome line work. Looking forward to more!

  • very impressed with ur vids. u got my sub.

  • Firme, the lines are clean you don't need a computer when you're gifted with a talent.

  • amazing O.O

  • hey when u finnish that peace i would like to see it. do u have a site ware u post ur stuff? it looks great sofar.
