@SluzBag1993 I think it is less that and more that they know each other a lot better now. In fact, if my Yogscast timeline is correct, they had never actually met in real life when they made this video. Now they live together! Relationships change as time progresses.

Plus, they had a lot less content back then. I'm sure back then if their conversations are boring, they would cut it. Now, they do most of their stuff on the spot. That makes a huge difference.

Id love to see them do a new review of it now as its hugely improved since these early days (and not little improvements I mean big sweeping changes to the ground combat in particular!) It's dumb to always complain about sounds in space and how you can't hear them. Because the humans (or aliens) who are on the vessels in space are obviously in an artificial atmosphere where they do have the capacity to hear the sounds of the machines on their respective vessels which are making the sounds. If they're standing on the bridge, they WILL be able to hear their own phasers and torpedoes as they're produced. And the sounds of their engines too.
