  • it struck me that if zombie outbreak were to happen, what am i gonna do? im an asthmatic theres no way im going to be able to outrun the zombies. unless they are like the zombies in the Night of the Living Dead movie; slow and stupid.

  • QUE MIEDO!!!!!!!!!!

  • Why did the one zombie have his clothes rent in two from behind? Whats the funerary purpose of that?

  • @Ninjadelusion Because, as you may know, a dead body is hard as a rock or wood. So, in order to put clothing to a dead body, the dress has to be cut from behind so it will be easier to clothe a dead body. It's a common practice in funeral parlors.

  • @91joelt ty

  • A redhaired passive-aggressive neoliberal strictly formal office bitch 0:05 but in 1990? I never thought it would have started so early.

  • If you type into search: "night of the living dead impact on the drive in theater", Russell Streiner, who played the original Johnny, talks about what the title suggests.

  • Keep playing @ 1:58, THEIR BOTH RUBBER DUMMIES! LOL!

  • 1:59 soo cheesy

  • @homisidaltoast thats like my favorite part, that would really fuck you up hahaha

  • best remake

  • The is my most favorite zombie movie ever. And listening to the sound of minor keys playing scares the shit outta me.

  • What a dumb bitch.

  • Best remake in the history of horror

  • What happened to that old man with the bruise on his head saying "I'm sorry! i'm so sorry!" he watched barbra get attacked and then disappeared! did he become a zombie? is he alive running around somewhere crazy? I NEED TO KNOW!!! =P

  • even though its awesome that Barbra lives in the remake, the original is just so badass when her brother Johnny {zombie} grabs her and pulls her on the porch to be a buffet for all the other zombies!

  • i watched when i was kid this is so traumatic movie

  • The zombies in this movie are easily the scariest I have ever seen. The CGI and others now are more like video-game characters or caricatures.

THe two zombies in this scene are truly frightening. Thanks to Tom Savini!

  • not as good as the first one

  • funniest thing ive ever saw!

  • she's hot and bill moseley is just pure brilliance

  • this is the way zombies are supposed to be. slow and brainless. unlike some of today's zombies, running, jumping and some even learned to use cars and weapons from watching the living.

  • @gagongromy I agree. And those old style zombies are much scarier that today's ones.....

  • The reveal of the autopsy zombie is really creepy in my opinion. There are plenty of faults in this remake but they got some moments just right here and there.

  • @agentpiltdown they're not any faults at all. thats your opinion.

  • @shanefire6 Oh gosh, I forgot to give it the IMO tag so it wouldn't confuse people like you, can you forgive me?

  • @agentpiltdown yes I can forgive you. its not your fault that you came in off on the short bus.

  • the remake kind of sucks

  • @mattL4D then don't watch it and i wont have to read your comments on something you know nothing about.

  • Lol! Funny thing is the way the flower is still stuck on the zombie after much chasing. Lol!

  • Awww... she gave flowers to the zombieeeee :) how loving :)

  • @kelcandice i said the same exact thing haha, maybe she was rewarding him for killing her brother so now she doesnt have to listen to him haha

  • The running zombies like in 28 days later and the like are really cheap. Apparently when you get infected and become a zombie you basically have super powers. You can run fast, jump high, tear people apart with one hand and spit and yowl and drool all you want and really really loudly. Those zombies aren't even dead, they're just cannibalistic super humans that don't even need to travel in hordes as zombies always have. One of them is like twenty Romero zombies, that's just really cheap.

  • "Ha,ha, I can see his ass!" ...when you are 12 or 14 years old, it `s ok, hope you ´re not an adult...

  • "They're Horny Barbara, They've Been Dead A Long Time" XD

  • "They're Horny Barbara, They've Been Dead For A Long Time" XD

  • 1:55 to 2:00 is fucking hilarious!

  • Mercedes Benz saves the day!!!

  • What? That johnny doll is excellent! Ok, mayby you weren't in the theatre when that scene unveiled to an unsuspecting audience and they all jumped and said, "Oooo" Yeah, the initial reaction is the only genuine one. Tom Savini said that.

  • I would be horny to if i see her :P

  • @RabosTroll

I was quite a fan of her as well. Even pulls off the short hair because she has a pretty face!

  • @RabosTroll Amen lol

  • at 1:59 you can tell that was dummies falling on the cemetary

  • Bill Moseley FTW

  • 2:45 i was like Holy shit i cant see his ass HAHAHAHAHA

  • The way they ended this remake just invalidated the entire movie!

  • there horny barbera

  • They could have tried to make the rubber jhonny doll more realistic :P

  • hahaha his neck.

  • nvm stop at 1:55-2:00 thts the dummy part xD

  • i saw this like a day ago it was scarrier than funny look!!! a dummy at 1:59 xD

  • the first zombie is so nasty looking, creeps me out

  • Only 2 zombies isn't scary

  • Nice one there mr. zombie, 2 points for the reversal and another 2 points for the takedown!

  • Don't ever hit me in the head with FLOWERS!

  • @poshpsylocke theres metal stakes on the bottom so that you can put them in the ground...

  • @donmajikjuan I know. I was quoting Saphyyrii from Flavor of Love 2, "Don't ever hit me with flowers!"

  • 1:18 that made me jump

  • i love this movie. zombies are really zombies. unlike any other movies that i have watched , the zombies are running.

  • @vivianramirez80 i hear ya man. its way easier to pick off slow shambling zombies than those retarded running ones.

  • @vivianramirez80 Did you see the Original? That really gave me nightmares. With the Original Film George A. Romero had very little money and had to be very creative. That paid off very well!

  • @vivianramirez80 then are those 'zombie' in other movies just infected they can run.

  • @vivianramirez80 I agree

  • @vivianramirez80 You know what they call running zombies? Bad guys.

  • @vivianramirez80 zombies that can run arnt zombies cuase they are normaly still alive....but yeh i prefer the old slowzombies

  • Another thing I thought about...so many people keep saying Barbara was stupid...why? What would most people do if this really happened? Oh let's fight with them, pleeeease. You'd probably be running around flipping out too. In most of these movies, the actors don't say, oh this happened before in a 1968 movie. It's as if those movies never existed, and this is a first time for something like this to happen. It's alot easier to envision how you'd do things when they're not really happening!

  • @TDNHou I agree with your comments. By the way, is that remake any good? I saw the original movie, only once. I think i thought it was ok.

  • @StormWolf01 It's definitely worth a view...I like it as much as the original but for different reasons. Definitely better than most remakes they have now!

  • @TDNHou IMHO< Barbera from the original was a realistic character. Its a pity she came out of her shocked state too late, though. Always feel sorry for her when I watch that movie.

  • 2.) The zombie who attacked Johnny most likely appeared randomly in the cemetery...not explained.

3.) The "autopsy" zombie rose out of the casket, and bit the mortician...why do people keep saying the autopsy zombie was the driver?? Common sense, people....!

  • Okay I'm sure I'm taking some of these comments too seriously, but to clear up a few things alot of people don't seem to get...

1.) The 1st guy who says "I'm sorry" was the mortician/driver, whatever...and he was saying "I'm sorry" because he bumped into Barbara. I doubt it was because he was confused thinking Barb and her bro were attending the funeral and trying to comfort them for their loss....

  • i hate zombie films its so gross

  • man she is so beautiful

  • What a horrid remake! Barbara is now Ripley from Aliens, Ben is Harry Cooper, Harry Cooper is an unfunny version of Don Rickles yelling things like "You yo-yos" "You lame brains", zombies that weren't scary, a soundtrack that sounds like a 14 year old playing around with a cheap old synthesizer and someone else doing bad Jeff Beck imitation, and the most idiotic dialogue old George ever came up with "We're us, and We're them" Dear GOD!!!!!! This movie ****ing sucked!

  • 2:47 DAT ASS

  • she is really beautiful

  • They're horny Barbara, they've been dead a long time ahaha

  • Just awful... really, really bad.

    The original is far better.

  • Fuckin Bill Mosley as Johnny huh, grat movie, definatly one of my favorites!

  • Come on guys, watch the movie...the old man says he's sorry because the zombie must've come out of the casket and hit him on the head (as evidenced by the blood trickling down his head) and it put him in shock. So when he's walking around and bumps into Johnny and Barbara he apologizes.

  • "They're coming to get u bawbwa!!!!"

No u idiot!!! They're coming to get you and Barbara!!

  • in your face johnny!!!

    er um.....neck...

  • zombie movies are the best :)

  • 2:00 is such an obvious mannequin...

  • @extremesniper007 No way.

  • the remake was a piece of shit the 1st one was way better even though it had no color

  • @MrCASIO28 the remake was not a piece of shit

  • 1:29 OWNED!

  • 2:00 = A Dummy.

  • if there was only one zombie i would do like rex kwon do off of napolean dynamite every time he trys to bite me i would back up a slap/hit him in the head hahaha

  • The Autopsy zombie kinda looks like Bruce Campbell! :D

  • this movie is about democrats. They were told the brains of thinking people were to blame for their problems.

  • @nVei06 bob hope

  • Hahahahha girl power XD

  • Does anyone knows what's with the old man at the beginning and why he keeps saying "Oh I'm sorry" Been wondering that since I first watched the movie.

  • @ezequieldavid - Well, from the looks of it I'd say he apologizes because he trips or almost collapses onto Barbara scaring her in the process. He also obviously seems to be traumatized by something that happened to him earlier, perhaps a struggle or something with the undead, who knows. He has a wound on his head though, something happened.

  • @SonofLight83 I see... I used to think the old man was like half undead half human.

  • im confused

  • Wow, the actress is really beautiful.

  • @milkau828 - Yeah, I think so too. I'm not big on the hair style she has in the movie though, although it fits her character's personality. You should see her with long hair like I did when I saw an interview she gave regarding her role in this film, she looked even better with the long hair, in my opinion.

  • I'm sorry, very very sorry...

    They're getting closer...

    Dangerously closer...

  • pretty bad acting

  • @phantasm091 no. the original cemetery scene was filmed at the evans city cemetery. in the remake, the cemetery scene was shot at the west middletown cemetery. both are located in PA.

  • Comment removed

  • the scary thing with this scene is that you see that fucking zombie in the distance and he is chasing you.. and you run and you run... and even though the zombie barely walks... he comes closer and closer... Thats a fucking nightmare!

  • @Remus88Romulus - Yeah, tell me about. That's the kind of thing that makes people wake up in a cold sweat. Those kind of nightmares are only fun AFTER you wake up and realize it wasn't real, then you can think back on it and how cool it was after the fact. :-)

  • My guess is they all panicked and took off when he popped out of the casket :P

  • this scene always used to scare me!!!!! I was petrofied of it when I was a child, and I still am!

  • hahahahahahahahahah The old man is a Shy Zombie!!!

  • if you'll notice in this scene right before the zombie attacks Johny the old man turns back around and starts back towards them.....but thats all you see of him...hmm nope it doesn't make sense.....but i still think this is a good zombie film....and the scares aren't to bad

  • did a dub of this...check ma channel...cant post it here...lame

  • I saw it when I was child.I must see it again!!!

  • Oh this scene terrifies me!! Oy.

  • Didnt Tom Savini make this?

  • @thatdoomguy666 yeah

  • Sweet! then its got to be good!

  • @thatdoomguy666 yeah man tom savani is classic along with george romero!!

  • I think there is a deleted scene from this movie I saw a long time ago. Wish I could find it again. It explains why the old man kept saying "I"m sorry I'm sorry" to barbara. Also the zombie she sticks with the wire might be the man who was in the coffin she runs buy a minute later.

  • you people all givin serious reviews cant you see this is hilarious espescially the chicks face before her bro slips on whoopie cushion she does this like weird tired look like moves her head wierd then bro gets it and she screams jonny fukin hilarious

  • Originally that old guy was a zombie, but Im glad they changed that, I mean what kinf of weak ass bitch can't take down an old, slow, stupid zombie?!

  • poor Johny has it rough...first he gets hit in the head by zombie by sisters foot...then he gets stabbed in the hand...again by sister...and then he falls right on his noggen..demple, on the edge of the tombstone...ouch...

    Poor poor johny...

  • @ghostchild88 - And then he dies again as a zombie after being shot by rednecks and tossed into the back of their truck, but we don't see that happen. Hell, he was probably also one of the corpses placed in the corpse pile that was set on fire at the end of the movie too. Poor, poor Johnny. Lol.

  • This is really stupid. It's like a textbook example of a piss poor attempt to escape from something in a horror movie. She spends half her time just spazzing about instead of actually running anywhere.

  • thats totally posible, cause you never know how you will react in a situation like that

  • taste cross!@!@!@@!

  • Wow the zombie could've been in the WWE the way he reversed Johnny's back grapple lol

  • This is the best movie of zombies.

  • man i remember seeing this so young and i love it still

  • Did this one really need a remake?

  • this was one of the ost inventive and original remakes ever not only in Horror lol

  • Holy damn that was scary as hell.

  • Best Undead movie ever!!....The remake is the deep inside my heart.

  • The only thing scaring the shit out of me is her acting at 2:00.

  • I know that it's from 1990 but only completely retarded person could get killed by that kind of zombie ;p

  • that kind of zombie have the advantage to crowd large areas and in movies they are much more numerous than fast ones... death comes slowly :)

  • Im all set for the apocolypse, what about you :)

  • Wow...talk about randomness.

  • Classic Remake!!! Great beginning!!!

  • The man with the 'Barbara' reminds me of Jim Carey?

  • Thats just what i was thinking.

  • Why is the zombie's ass hanging out? I think I'm confused.

  • ha ha! his ass is out because when they dress dead people, its easier just to cut the clothes from behind and then fit them on instead of trying to manage to fit regular clothes on stiff dead bodies.

  • plus they dont want to damage the decomposing bodies more than they have to for the families when they see them.

  • @ILYKAILEY Maybe that zombie is a rapist?A pedophile?xD,Or just,STABBED in the BACK!

  • @ILYKAILEY:omg.because its the guy from the casket.its not easy to dress a dead person.so they cut the wear(the suit).

    (sorry for bad english)

  • 1:15 scares the SHIT out of me every time!

  • the original is still better

  • Nevermind i found out who it was. It was the same guy that played the main bad guy in the house of 1000 corpes and devils rejects

  • Is Jim Carrey playing her bother in this version? Some scenes it looks like him and sounds like him.

  • I think that Barbara in here is very different than in the original. Here she is much more stronger, braver and more ... warlike. But in the original there was quite other times.

  • That was the first horror movie I ever saw and it scared the shit out of me!

  • That bearded guy is actually a new breed of super zombie that has evolved to need not brains, but the sense of gratification generated by apologising.

Soon they'll be stumbling round your neighbourhood apologising for things they didn't do!

  • XD awesome

  • Wow for a second there it's almost like a comedy horror

  • the head (on John) looks completely fake when it hits the headstone looked like a fake head, like that of a dummy or something, I thought the whole idea of remaking movies was to add better effects, and be a higher budget film? I guess not if they have to use a fake head that actually looks fake?

  • theres a uncut version of this with lots of missing clips put back into the film to bad its not on dvd only vhs

  • great movie!

  • the first zombie:hmm must get car door open,but how,hmmm...ohh look a brick.how convenient

  • that's piece of some fine ass!!!

  • Why on earth did anyone feel the need to remake the original : (

  • I will admit that I did appreciate this remake....and I hate feeble attempts to remake horror films that are already good-especially today! This remake of Night of the Living Dead pretty good because it was directed by Tom Savini and supervised by George Romero. It wasn't bad.

  • I agree I hate how they remake classic movies and I'm sorry but that actor who says "there coming to get you Barbra" is just not as good as the original actor who said that line. The guy from the Original movie had a way more creepy voice when he said that and it set the tone for the movie. I like the Original movie better.

  • You are correct about that. Did you know that the guy who played Johnny in the original also produced this remake of Night of the Living Dead???? I agree...I do like the original much better!

  • 3:15-3:18 LMFAO like that's gonna help start the car XXDD

  • its funny how johnny says"they're horny barbara" and that zombie @ 02:42 starts stripping i guess he's horny

  • 1:56 to 2:03 ROTFL

  • hahaha best bit of the entire scene hahaaaa

  • That zombie gots some pretty badass Judo skills. haha!

  • this movie is not only ONE OF THE GREATEST REMAKES EVER but it is also soooo UNDERATED. this is a great movie in every possible way...

  • great flick.
