@jgamez55 i dont know why a-rod didnt play, but the reason lincecum didnt pitch in the game was because well they didnt really need to use him. he, along with carpenter and hudson were going to be used in extra innings if it got that far. Plus, i believe all three of those guys started the second half for their team.

@chancedinger55 i too went to fanfest! loved it! i got autographs, but i think one of the best things (and what i will do this year in AZ), was when we went to the hotel outside the convention center and got auto's there and saw soooo many big names. Joe Girardi, Torri Hunter, Ryan Howard, Rafael Furcal, Andre Ethier, Tim Hudson, Kevin Millar and SOO many more. It was really awesome! and we saw basically all of the cast of MLB network. Across the way at the other hotel were HoFers. Awesome Day!
