I have to say, this is actually a very good video. I have been a massive fan of Aston Martin for a long time. However the recent videos I have seen in regards to the Cygnet have not been very good. I also seem to remember Aston trying to make a story-based video before? About the Virage or Rapide, with a bond theme and a bazooka at the end but I don't recall and in all honestly it was awful. However after seeing this one I am impressed. I really did enjoy it. Well done to the student involved.

People having a go at Aston for this car are ridiculous. No, it's not ideal for their brand but yes, they had to make it. Yes, it uses the Toyota IQ as a starting point but have you actually sat in both? I have. The Aston has a luxurious feel and great detail for a city car with all the added extras you could ask for. And yes, that is why it is more money. I'm not defending the price - but wouldn't it be worse for the brand if it were cheap enough for lots of people to be running around in them?

Amazing video. I can't see paying a 200% markup for a rebadged Toyota. But this vid at least makes it tempting. Aston should hire you 8-)

It is a good looking car, and it has the typical Toyota reliability (you all know why). So it does´t seem bad.

But we all know how bad someone will feel when say a DB9, or worse, a Virage passes by.

I really don't think Aston wanted to make this car, so they put an Aston grill on a Peugeot and just sent it out. Nevertheless, it looks like a good and effective car for London, it's just weird because it doesn't have the same vibe that we're used from every other car Aston Martin makes.
