People are saying that this phone does not have enough apps. Compared to apple, it doesn't, although the quality off the apps are alot better than apple and also more are free in palm than apple. The app catalog is growing every day and as of december 2010 the app catalog has 5,890 apps in total, and the number is growing alot, so im sure it will soon catch up with apple anyway.

no, it wont. both Verizon and Sprint are CDMA networks, therefore they do not have sim cards or sim card slots. if they do, it is for international roaming and it wont support gsm in the us.

so u cant activate the pre plus on sprint unless they come out with one for sprint.

An SD card and a SIM card is different.

And if you were trying to say a SIM card, it still won't work.

It's true some sprint phones (in fact, most of them these days) have SIM card slots. However those are for global roaming purposes, and it won't work with other US sim cards when "unlocked."

sprint and verizon are still both CDMA networks. Only GSM networks like AT &T and T-Mobile are able to Unlock and use various sim cards.

well, again, i think u are confusing the SIM and the SD.

I was talking about the SIM card, which is required to activate and use a GSM phone. It doesn't store any memory. The SD card is used for storage like music, videos, etc. The SD card has nothing to do with unlocking a device.

But as far as your sd card goes, you are correct. only because no phone REQUIRES an SD Card. It's always optional, and the pre plus has 16GB of internal memory and no slot for an SD card.

thats right now sd card required, also with the pre plus you get 16gb of memory which is plenty. better than sd cards. those things go bad then you lose all your info. Have had it happen more than once

This thing is actually better performance wise then the Droid because of the doubled RAM it has over it and the original Pre. The Droid has a bigger screen and higher resolution as well as Camera....but if you want to have more powerful programs open then this will absolutley kill the Droid.

You're right I don't but I have played with my friends quite a bit. In either case specs speak for themselves and this will have better specs then the Droid performance wise. Oh and as I said in my last post, Engadget even thinks the Palm Pre Plus is better then the Nexus One which they said feel's almost crappier then the Droid. Also, as far as Verizon goes...Sprint and Verizon use CDMA towers...they are the most superior type on the market today. AT&T, etc use GSM/TDMA (in past)...not to mention if you compare country-wider coverage, AT&T comes nowhere close to Verizon. Maybe in your area with your phone you are having issues with Verizon...that can be. But overall, Verizon/Sprint own, coverage maps don't lie.
