Argh, a large portion of the population, gay and straight, has way too narrow ideas about gender/butch and femme. ren's so very cool. but man... that choppy hair and the yellow outfit and the pacifist angle with the blowing dust in baddies faces... were just a strange character evolution for gabs that season. for me at least. that rust-colored outfit she switched to when she started fighting again, that kicked some backside. ren showing off that athleticism is well worth the ticket. :)

I love how this ep starts, but I feel that it`s initial dynamic impact filtered out during the ep despite some of the things that go on.
