This loop IS a vertical loop. There is no such thing as a "perfectly round loop" on any roller coaster anywhere in the world (hasn't been since the 1800s). It's referred to as a teardrop vertical loop. Perfectly round loops cause injuries to the neck, head and back due to centrifugal forces that are too strong. Check out wikipedia and look up "Vertical loop". I love this awesome ride. One of the best because you feel energized after the ride.

Exactly,the loop had to be tightened into a more egg-shaped form to prevent the gravity from causing injuries.

What I've noticed about most Schwartzkopf loops is that they are vertical loops to a degree, but are shaped mostly like a perfect circle. And since they are shaped in an almost perfect circle, the support styles that are used for the loops can be made possible.

How would you survive on this ride if it has no shouder straps?? I went to Knotts like 3 weeks ago and me and my cousin said "no" to this ride bcuz we though it was unsafe and if we went on how could we NOT fall out?? is it the gravity that pulls you down or somethin??

hahaha read your physics books, the normal force actually is much stronger than your weight at the loop.. physically you cant fall. I loved this ride!
