The magnet wasn't a bad idea but it would have been a better set-up if they had shown it being used earlier. Maybe Naomi could have demonstrated it for Bond during the tour or Stromberg could have been using it when he first met Bond. It might have also been cool if Anya had come in while Bond and Jaws were fighting and she used the magnet to grab Jaws just as he was getting the upper hand; kind of like Tatiana shooting Klebb or Domino shooting Largo.
