May i have a minor question ? I have played kotor 1 and 2 about 10 times ... but i dont remember if i had a power in kotor 1 like rage in kotor 2 ? (it was something like , lifting the enemy and breaking his/her neck) Or what are the rewards for a full ds/ls character ? i only experienced rage in kotor 2 though
-Master Speed is the best force power of the game. 2 extra attacks is just overkill
-Force (F.) Wave is 2nd best force power. It's the best offensive one, it does slightly less damage then force lightning but it's more damage consistent and stuns opponents for 6 s. (Reflex is usually the lowest ST in every enemy)
-F. Kill can 2hit a single foe and while in effect the foe can't attack.
@kamhal89 Burst of Speed is useful as a utility if you're playing a pure consular. Master Speed is less useful if all you use is offensive force powers. Force Wave is amazing but some enemies are immune to its damage or stun effect (this is where Stasis Field/Insanity comes in handy). F. Heal isn't a waste if you're playing a LS char, especially if you don't have Imp. Energy Resistance. Plauge is bugged and is almost useless. Saberthrow is only good as a Force Wave alternative for LS characters.
@blueguy81 It's very hard to say, because they were made by different developers. KOTOR can be very uplifting and satisfying (even if you play as the dark side), but KOTOR2 has a very dark tone all way through whichever side you choose.
At first it was very hard for me to get into KOTOR2 as I loved KOTOR so much, but once I discovered how deep the story is in KOTOR2, it grew on me and now I can't separate two games. Only downside is KOTOR2 is unfinished & so many scenes are cut :D
@virtualcat2010 Have you heard of the TSLRCM mod before. If not google it, it is a restoration mod that restores a lot of the lost content, fixes some of the game bugs and more. They have 1.7 out now but 1.8 is coming soon.
If im not mistaken it works for both PC and xbox versions, though i'm not 100% on that.

Sorry for the late reply - if you're on the light side, I'd definitely master Force Wave (or Stasis Field), Destroy Droids, Force Valor, Speed, Heal and Energy Resistance.
It's also useful to have Force Suppression and Force Immunity against Malak. Affect (Dominate) Mind is always useful too :D

I ask, cuz the A.I. does it sometimes: instead of using force wave, they use force whirlwind. But I myself cannot find whirlwind in my "foce list" in combat...
I noticed in various occasions that AI can use lower level of Force Wave. Or even your own character if you switch to other players during the combat :)
It'll cancel the enemy's buffing powers (Force Aura, Speed, Shield, Immunity etc). Almost certain that Malak will cast some of these powers on himself, so it's useful to cancel them out.
Hmm..... l will try to get it. Your lucky l finished ze game yesterday. This game is an Epic Fail. It is very short and if there was infinite level up l bet you would have finish ze game in level 30. :-/
In KOTOR1, the max level is set at 20. In KOTOR2, you can level up to Level 50 (only if you cheat). But they both have a different mechanism.
In KOTOR, working hard to earn XP & maxing your level will pay off at the ending. As in KOTOR2, the reward is very different - gaining XP is much easier, but unlocking secret stories & earning bonuses are more rewarding :)
3 jedi Counselors are incredibly awesome in this game. All you need for light-side powers is Force Heal, put most of the rest into dark side powers. Even if you're more light sided than dark, the penalty on your mana isn't bad at all and you still own pretty hard. Force Heal, Wave, Kill, Insanity, Storm, and Death Field are the best powers of all IMO. 3 characters with all of these skills are unstoppable!
And how are you planning in gtetting 3 Counsulars, without hax? Only yourself and Jolee are Counsilars. Juhani and Bastila are sentinel and Guardian. Ow and wtf are you talking about that it doesn't require much mana... If your full light dark powers cost 100% more mana and lightside -50% mana. Vice versa in dark, it's rather stupid to go for those force powers. Plus some units use Force immunity then your so screwed.
"more light sided than dark" key word MORE. I never said FULL (IMO it's stupid to play full light or full dark). I know I easily beat the game with 3 level 20 light-sided characters mostly using those powers, and of course they all had light sabers (I never said they were empty handed).

i have a question can you like press buttons to attack instead of just going up and choosing what you want to do like b to hit or the trigger i have no idea im seeing if this game is good
XBox controller can be very pain, and you have to scroll up & down to choose which command you want to use. But like any other games, you'll get used to it. All in all, the game is great & I highly recommend it.
FYI, it's made during the walkthrough, so I'm using 'vertical scroll pause' option so people can see which force power I'm using as I progress & level up. But now I've learned all the highest force powers so I took the pause option off.

You're welcome. Yes it's RPG, so you just give commands & AI will make the movements. I love action games too, where you have absolute control over the character.

Death Field is like the best Dark Side force power in the game. It's a shame it only has 2 upgrades, I'd love to have it to 3rd upgrade

I would give some useful tips:

I think it happens a lot with Force Wave tree.

No, only these phenomenon happens when the other characters are in AI mode (means when you're not controlling them).

You need to learn Force Suppression (available at Level 9) first, and Force Suppression is available next.

my favorite power is master speed but for the light side i think heal is useful and stasis field is good
and for the dark side i like death field, insanity, and of course force lightning.

Master Speed is my all time favorite - Stasis Field was very useful on the Star Forge.

Wound is in the same tree as Choke & Kill. Force Scream is only available KOTOR2, and there are many other Force Powers which are not in KOTOR.
I haven't made KOTOR2's Force Powers video yet - I may make it once I finish doing the current walkthough :)
