  • your one lucky sob

  • amazing how these 1950's things still work. i have a massager, the kind you put on your hand, and the thing still works perfectly. its from 1952. Nothing today is built like that stuff in the 50's. i could beat someone to death with that massager.

  • Could we hear it?

  • @bmesiasbmesias yeah, i just jave to get off my ass and find a stem and cut a base for it, add a resistor and it'll be good to go... but i am positive it will have a lower level "old timey" crystal mic sound to it.

  • But how does it *sound*!? :-)

  • sweet. looks like something that an old time radio station would have used

  • Do you have a USB adapter for it? :D

  • @insightnew Actually... I'm planning on putting USB input in the wooden base :D hahaha

  • Wow last time I seen one of these was in 1969 on a sound stage, it looks to be in real nice shape.

  • @GrayRealities :) yeah, it's not mint but it's real good.. i think someone left the case open on a shelf for display, and smoked around it, because one side is yellowed a tiny bit.

  • whole list is here... oldmics dot cz/?v=5&j=en&od=1

  • I did not know you were rich. Don't forget to put me in your will.

  • @Smarterthanyouarable don't i wish.... just thrifty

  • @onlywhenprovoked 25 years of having half my wages go to child support. Thrifty is my middle name. Actually it is cheap fucking bastard but thrifty is the politically correct term.

  • @onlywhenprovoked I did not think it was funny at the time but in retrospect I am glad I did not know how to create weapons of mass destruction.

  • excellent man great vid

  • @ROCKNTV1 thanks bud

i been burned out on making political videos for a long time now... but every time i watch one of your videos i think of how many how-to techie type videos i been meaning to make... very inspiring... keep them coming.

  • Sweet 2 See it Again =)

  • @czarwright your fault :P

  • That was originally owned by Tesla ?

I cant imagine how much that would fetch on Ebay .

  • @slLLyhumans No, he was dead before this was made, but his namesake manufacturing plant continued on.

  • @onlywhenprovoked

Have you studied physics at all . To really understand whats going on you have to be able to do the math equations and those calculations really start to get a bit tricky .

  • @slLLyhumans I can't say I've studied physics, but are you referring to the 150ohms jump required to run a crystal mic on modern equipment?

  • Awesome is an understatement. That is the bees knees!
