Can I please get an end to this popping noise I keep hearing when the channel switches from a show to a commercial or the opposite ? It may not be the tv as it may be the PVR/cable box I have or the hdmi cord used with it. I know I don't have this problem with audio when using blu-rays and playing games on different video game systems.
I also now have a line down the right side of my tv screen from top to bottom that is lighter, whiter and brighter in color than the rest of the tv. wth ?
That's a nice tv you have there. :) Question: Do you have any problems with the image "burning" into the screen, as example if you use it as an computer screen for a long time, does the taskbar burn into the screen? So when the tv is off the taskbar is still there.. Btw. What's the name of that song? :) Thx!
@Jerttu I've not had any issues with screen burn in, and it's used for Xbox gaming on a regular basis. I will see image retention for a few minutes after switching channels, but nothing serious / noticeable. The song is 'When we collide'.
I love this tv and I am not getting the issue with video that others talk about all over the net. I am getting some sort of audio problem but I think it is related to the connection to my HD PVR. Still if it is not I am going to be using an external source for audio at some point so I hardly care about the audio.
@Mrjobofo The one you have bought for 599 is the same but is only 720p instead of 1080p I nearly done the same thing and bought the one at 599 but the one at 749 is the full hd 1080p tv
What is the HD like for blu ray films? And have you played any games on it? Namely PS3. Also could you tell me the specs... Like resolution, HDMI out puts etc and what would you say a good UK price is? I found one for £675. Good/bad?
@KingOfAllFighting I use ATV2 to watch movies, and the quality is very good. This is my 5th Plasma, and by far the best quality. The tech specs can be found in the description (link to the Samsung website). Without looking, I think Amazon is the best price at the moment. Currys/PC World etc are at about £800 with no glasses.
@mjlmuk It's a great TV. I used to have the PS50C680, which was faulty (after 6 months), and was exchanged for this TV. The 3D is very good, and the picture quality is brilliant!
