I would've been scared of this one as a kid! 0_0 I probably would have thought I was going to wind up like Pluto did the next time I got in trouble (which I rarely did)!

Man, Mickey was cruel to Pluto in this one! <:/ But Pluto did do something wrong, and some people really do think they are going to recieve the same punishment even for something that can easily be forgiven. Guilt is a such a common feeling.

When cartoons were meant to entertain and were not bound by ridiculous morals of modern days. When someone got piano dropped on their heads people laughed and didn't get offended and claim it is harmful for children. When you could watch cartoons as a grown up without feeling shame for it. When I was little I saw this short in Disney's Halloween Treat and enjoyed it. However when I saw the whole short on the Beta Video "Disney Scary Tales" I became terrified. I had nightmares for weeks and became terrified of the dark. Now that I am grown up I am no longer terrifed of this short, although it still gives me the chills. My hats off to Disney for creating a scary short.
