dont get under the table, ley next to it because you could get crushed if something falls on it, ley next to it because it creates a vortex of space where you can ley...what noobs, i live in england and iv never felt a quake bigger than 1.2 lol
Going under table is not a good idea! You could be crushed. One person in the video correctly suggested that you stand against a wall. It was explained to me that that is correct because, if things collapse (on tables, etc ...) there is usually a triangular-shaped space that remains around walls or other such strong structures.
@redninjamoirah Because, The movement of the Earthquake will be so massive and strong that the doorway(no matter how strong) is going to split because it's not with the movement of the earthquake so it would split and possibly fall on your head and 96% will kill you.
well if u stay in the bed, under the table or something and the building collapses u are basically gonna get buried alive?! i think i ll just move near the emergency exit and stay there and move out if its very serious...
Some poor-out of date advice in this. latest advice is to get in the space next to beds/furniture etc as these voids are usually still there after a building collapse. Under a table is one of the worst places as it will collapse squashing you under it. (ref: Doug Copp, Rescue Chief and Disaster Manager of the American Rescue Team International - ARTICLE ON THE: 'TRIANGLE OF LIFE' .)
Agree 150% with boxter23. If you get UNDER furniture it is most likely it will squash you to death. Get NEXT TO a piece of furniture in a fetal position. It's called the 'Triangle of Life' as Boxter23 said.

here is what NOT to do in an earthquake.
1. GET UNDER AN OBJECT
2. STAND IN A DOORWAY
ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE REPLY

@101DegrassiFan why stand in a doorway?
