An exceptional Jazz instrumentalist and musician.
Saw him live circa '80-'81 in New York. Small club...Storyville. A very memorable performance.

witnessed this in'72. Hadn't heard of Phil at the time. He was the most anticipated act and he stole the Festival in most eyes. Anymore from the set would be appeciated. Thanx
