@gonotgentleman It's not, he swung the momentum around the corner so he was twice as fast as the car. On a straight plane cars are faster and more aerodynamic. Sideways had to brake to get around that corner anyways, so he slowed down a lot.

This may make no sense to anyone but, when sideways transforms back into a car after crashing through that building, at high volume, his transformation sounds like air being punched out of the way by metal. Like it's just such an intense pounding and clanking of metal that the air in front of it is being displaced in an eardrum thundering series of small explosions...or something like that.
