As far as their using it against the US goes, the Chinese anti Aircraft Carrier missile may as well be a nuclear tipped ICBM. If any nation-state were to blow up one of our aircraft carriers and kill 6000 service members, that would be the equivalent of Pearl Harbor, only in the nuclear age. The best we can hope for is that this never gets used. As far as their using it against the US goes, the Chinese anti Aircraft Carrier missile may as well be a nuclear tipped ICBM. If any nation-state were to blow up one of our aircraft carriers and kill 6000 service members, that would be the equivalent of Pearl Harbor, only in the nuclear age. The best we can hope for is that this never gets used. Personally, I don't think preserving American style capitalism in Taiwan is worth the wholesale destruction of the planet, but maybe that's just me...

yeah well america's involvment in taiwan is making the chinese very upset and when you get chinese upset they start to get competitive, China's military will overtake the US in 2015 or will be on equal ground so that means the US should not get involved in taiwan because there will be big consequences.
besides the fact that china wants to play as a big shot superpower as well and want to be just as influential as the US does, socially, politcially, economically and diplomacy.

@joshkilla67 Wars are not won by brawns, US has clearly lost the battle against muslim extremists in the middle east. The US can't stay there forever and it's impossible to eradicate the opposition. No one likes the US because you guys always get into other countries' affairs, and invade countries purely based on your own terms. But the tides are changing, slowly but surely.

@hunkgod how do you know that US has good shit and that china has weapons from cold war, did you talk to some high rank chinese officer who knows what weapons they have or you saw it on tv like you saw us guns on future weapons? In numbers Chinese has largest army and navy, US has largest airforce around 14 000 aircrafts and russia has the largest tank force around 22 000 tanks and india is closing very fast with their new tech. In my oppinion US has the best tech....
