yea, i want to go sli,problem is i need to buy a new PSU, and then two new gpus- i want some that are tri sli ready, this leaves room for future upgrades such as a new mobo

1280x1024 was the res, i did put a hd monitor on,(my tv is a monitor aswell) and it performed a little bit slower at a much higer resolution.8800gts are great, but if you can afford it, get the gtx, they are better...

i get 40-55 fps on medium settings and about 26fps average on high (can range from 22-30) with the dx9 pom (dx10 images on xp)
