my ipod touch when i lock it and try to unlock it flickers different colors and the touch screen still works and i can still use it but i have to know were the stuff on my ipod is because it is covered with a flickering screen but when i plug it into A charger then the screen is visible againnand goes just fine and i can unlock it and lock it while its plugged in but not when its unplugged

There are options you may use with a faulty headphone jack. Either take it into an apple store to get it repaired or use a q tip with 90% rubbing alcohol while the device is powered off and gently clean the port. It worked for me but only use this option if your ipod is no longer under warranty.

I opened this shit without that tool. I ended up beding the cover and breaking the seals. The cover is hooked onto the case which means once they are put together u cannot force it open unless u release hooks or break them. I used chisel and hammer.

Hi, I need some help for my iPod Touch 3G, 3.1.2 firmware jailbreaked. I was using it and the battery was at 2%. I was downloading stuff on the net and the battery became empty. I have been charging it on my laptop via USB and in my house with a pluggin for more than 12 hours but I still can't open it even with hard restarting (Hold Button+Home Button). I jailbreaked it with blackra1n, so it's semi-tethered. Everytime the battery is empty, i have to jailbreak it again, but now it wont recharge.

Well when i seen him just take of the battery off like nothing, mine was glued on and it took awhile so they have opened it already so they make it loook easy. And use a really pudding knife to open the ipod.
