I bought the same thing on a whim. I didn't do much with it--so it sat in my cupboard for a while--then one day I decided to put it in a ziplock bag, take a hammer to it, and break it up into pieces so I could put it in my grinder. Then, I liked it. I will say I have now learned it probably ruined my stainless steel grinder. You should use ceramic for sea salts or salts like this. I wish I could find info on what the best Himalayan salt is. My husband has cancer now, so healthy food is a must.
