@myreaper101 It has english subtitles, I don't speak or understand Dutch so it it didn't have the subtitles then I wouldn't be able to follow it. If you mean is the film available dubbed into English then the answer is no for the official DVD, but you can get downloads that are dubbed. I tried watching a dubbed version of this and the dubbing was pretty awful, so awful infact that I decided to turn it off.
dont give a shit any of your stupid argument on english and dutch roots...JUST SOMEBODY FUCKING TELL ME WHERE CAN I DOWNLOAD OR ONLINE STREAM THIS MOVIE!!!!!!
@12Italia3 You clearly don´t know where you´re talking about. English as Dutch share the same origins when it comes to the languages. The origin of the English and Dutch language comes from the `Northsea-German" also know as Ingvaeonic. Also a fun fact is that some french conquerer(William the Conqueror) in the middleages fucked a lot of things up in the English language. So to debate which language is oldest (better said: got less altered) I don't think you've much of a chance.
@usuariodeyutiub I dunno, some dutch movies can be downloaded with english subtitles. + Sinterklaas is a dutch festival, why would they have that in France? or am I missing something? :)
@goakiller900 Seriously... You've various Saxon tribes and that's right they ARE ALL GERMANIC TRIBES. Never heard of Low Saxon(Nedersaksisch) I guess? Well guess what, it was never spoken in England. The Saxons in England where the Anglo-Saxons and as "strangly as it may seem", they all have the same origin.
@12Italia3 Sinterklaas existed first. It was the Ducth that brought the celebration to the United States, where Saint Nicholas or Sinterklaas, became Santa Claus. It was then tied to the celebration of Christmas, but Santa has nothing to do with the Christian celebration. You can easily check this yourself, because Santa has no origin in history what so ever, while Sinterklaas goes way back. Sinterklaas is the original thing.
@12Italia3 Sinterklaas Bestond eerder. Santa Claus ish faik :3
@blargityish Yea. but actully ... men how do i explain this? X) uhrrm saint Nicholas is a tradition in the netherlands (Yea like some people say its a rip-off from santa) Uhrm. He is known as the Good-holy men a good person who gives presents to children. 5th december is known as present night. and actully the movie wants to show is an evil version of the ''good-holy men'' who kills people instead of ging presents. and because of the poster parents dont really like it (children who see it)
@LiterallyNoLife maybay thats bacause a dutchman made this video, i dont no where you come from. but this is not made my holloywood or something idiot
@robinnetje12 Come on. Making something scary has got nothing to do with what your nationality is or WHERE it's made. You can have crappy special effects and STILL make something scary. Have you seen an Asian horror movie? Scary as FUCK but DEFINITELY not made in Hollywood.
I bought the DVD of this the other day, it's great fun to watch and comes highly reccommended.

Wonderful black humour by Dick Maas. The film's got every horror cliche to make it to a cult-hit. The line "we're all gonna die" is CLASSIC
Since The Lift made you take the stairs nothing much happened till now: you're gonna want to spend your St'Nicholasses abroad, THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!
