jurrasic park 4 has had many delays, but it has seen some life in this last year, the guy who orginally did the dino puppet designs died and many didn't want to continue the movies after that, spielberg hated both scripts for the 4th movie, finally, they have decided to take the film in a whole new direction, and will be a planned new triolgy, that is about all i got for ya, the orginal is still the best, and the t-rex breakout scared me to death as a kid, still a classic

Dinosaur virus killing humans reminds me of Carnosaur. A disease created by a doctor that made humans bellies burst open, kinda like in Alien, and a Dinosaur was born. You probably have heard of that movie. If anybody else hasn't check it out.

They actually discovered a seperate species they named Utahraptor, that's about the size of the ones in the film. Granted, they have feathers and stuff, but still.
Meanwhile, 0:09 Ellie grabbing the leaf wasn't in the movie on VHS, does anyone remember if it was in the theatrical release of it, because I remembered seeing it but then it wasn't on my VHS tape... the Jeep stopped and she magically had the leaf.

When I saw this movie, I was like 7, and I thought they had Dinosaur actors. Like they were paying Dinosaurs to actually play in the movie. Boy us kids have some wild imaginations.

@TheMatey1 I now agree with you. The skin of the dinosaurs and the eyes were more realistic than a movie I had previously compared Jurassic Park to. The eyes were demonlike in the movie "Unknown Island" and were very scary but unrealistic - in Jurassic Park in the scenes where Goldblum was chased on foot and then him in the jeep chase - T-Rex's eyes were scary looking.
i wasnt really that impressed when i first saw this. i had just read the book and found myself making a lot of unfair comparisons. when i saw it again on video a few years later i really liked it.
hmmm, John Hammons is supposed to die in this movie as he does in the book...anyway, I think Michael Emerson would be a great actor for Jurassic Park IV :)

Awesome film...The special effects on this are better than some of the films today. Te dinosaurs actually look realy instead of computer animated. And this was the only film that's good out of the series. 2 was just awful imo

1)be a remake(with new science and a tone closer to the book)

The first Jurassic Park was made over 15 years ago... yet featured the most impressive t-rex ever seen on screen.
Even King Kong (2006) didn't have dinos as believable.
