I OWN A 2010 DSG S3 , THE ' ONLY ' ! NEGATIVE THING ABOUT AN AUDI S3 IS THE SOUND FROM THE EXHAUSTS COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER, LIKE A VW R32'S FOR EXAMPLE. THE ENGINE IS ONLY A 2 LITRE AND PRODUCING 265BHP , FOR BMW TO GET 265 THEY NEED A MINIMUM OF 3 LITRE'S SO DONT BOTHER COMPARE NO DUMB BMW !

The reason it got compared to the 330i was because of power was same and yes the audi has a smaller engine but it has a turbo and the 330i doesnt

The fact is the Evo/STI dont produce as quick times... a stock 135i does 4.7 secs to 60mph... countless mags have reproduced these times. The S3 is primarily fwd with a haldex clutch , its laggy, its gear change is slow and bulky... and lags once re-engaged ( the DSG is good though),its engine is also harsh when revved.

If you think Audis make the best interior still, go down to your dealer hop in a A4 and feel the crap plastic surrounds on the MMI screen/dash... Rav 4 comes to mind haha.

Im not from the states, otherwise id have never driven this utter piece of shit. Audi having a good build is more of a yesteryear tale than a current one. Perhaps you should go and rub your hand across the dash board of an A4/S4 for example and enjoy the rav-4 esque quality.

The Audi interior supremacy, is really starting to die in these new generation cars... they just feel flimsy, they definitely look good in pictures, but not in the flesh. I had an S3 for the weekend, and was thoroughly dissapointed with it. Mate you are retarded if you think the 2 litre TFSI is anywhere as tunable haha, with just a remap ( Vishnu or JB3) and exhaust ( pre cat supersprint or riss racing) the 135i is good for 430bhp... youd have to spend $20k atleast to get that out of an S3.

QSC324, you have not been in either cars clearly haha. As soon as you go in the 135 after the S3, you realise that there is no comparison. It steers better, it goes better, it sounds better, its more sturdy, better equipped, more tunable... no comparison. Saying a 135i is ugly when your inlove with an S3... it looks like Darth Vader from the front, and a boring A3 from every other angle. The 135i has a better interior than the S3, so im not sure what crack your smoking?

If you're going by manufacturer times, the STI and Evo are faster than the 135. Barely, but still faster. I don't understand what the hell you're trying to accomplish with the statement above me, every thing you said was opinion. IMO, Audi interiors are the best hands down. The S3 and the 2.0T in general are very tuneable, and I know the TT3.0 is also very tuneable, but i dont think you can say one more than the other. Stop bullshitting

Ah yes for starters, if we are comparing times, then every fucken independant test shows the 135i to be faster than the Evo and STI, and thats including the 6000rpm clutch dump that is required to get them off the line. the evo/sti run high 13s 1/4s verse mid to low 13s for the 135i.

As for tunability, a retune alone gives a 135i 400bhp, a revotek or APR retune on an S3 gives it 305bhp... so no their tunability is not equal... The S3 is crap, and unfortunately the TT-RS is a let down too.

if you have been in both cars like me you would prefer the s3 because its fast even if not as fast as the 135i its fast enough to enjoy with enough room for four people and a boot..its about more than a 0-100 time but if thats all you car about it tells me you you are not use to such cars
