This snake is a Reticulated Python.Grows very long length, but doesn't have the girth like anaconda.Took care of 19ft'er Retic at zoo in mid 90s for 2yrs very intelligent snake.Had to be careful for sure.

The problem is not the length, weight or the over all size of the victim, but the width of its shoulders. Caimans, crocodiles & alligators might grow to great lengths, but their shoulders are very small. So a large snake like a reticulated python or an anaconda would have no problem eating a croc, (unless it was the notorious man eating croc Gustave ;), it would certainly not be able to swallow an adult person, unless it was a child.
It has trouble if it starts at the head (which it does by instinct) because of the change in size between the head/neck and shoulders. It can't extend its mouth that wide in one go.
